I feel like there are moments when my character can take on like 9 cultists in the woods without any issue but then the 10th who hid appears from nowhere and kills me within 2 seconds
From what I gather, the attributes of these armor types are only activated in a heist scenario. So you need to figure out how to test them out of a heist and then in a heist.
Also a trick for 20 armor in your inventory. Fill up with 10 heavy armor, basically anything other than super heavy. Then call Franklin for supply stash. Boom. 10 and 10
For anyone wondering, he's got 10x of most armor types in his interaction menu because of the Christmas bonus, and possibly other R* bonuses during certain events, but the xmas one is the only one I know about. I think it also usually gives a ton of snacks as well as fireworks. At least they used to, I took about 4 years off from the game.
@@HarmNone To add to that, you won't be able to buy more armor (unless you're not wearing any at the time) until you have less than 10 total in the interaction menu.

Wow, glad I randomly found this video, as it showed me to the newer faster way to use snacks and armor in the weapon wheel that was added since I last played GTA Online is 2021. I hadn't noticed it since I started playing Online again a couple days ago. Was still using the awful menus.
Did you by chance try the extreme strike vest? My friend tells me that it has damage resistance, and I'm uncertain of whether or not that is actually true.
Of course, armor is treated like a consumable in gta, so you can equip light armor over and over until you fill up the armor bar. At max armor you have the same armor as 1 super armors.
OG armor scripted in OG hiests to actually function I guess it improve your health up to 5% The reason harmnone couldn't get more super heavy armor was he had 10 stack of other armors that he get from 10th anniversary You can buy up to 10 body armor + 1 already worn If you have more gifted to you you can't buy more unless use gifted ones
The only armor besides the body armor In ammunition is the original heist armor the black heavy armor suit. It gives you a small boost of protection from bullets in free roam
.........yeah, but when you have on the helmet, you HAVE to have on BDUs, which means it is reQUIRED to wear armor for aesthetics. You'd look silly in Aqua Blue camo, combat quad helmet, armored shirt, armored pants, but no vest
Seems that armour is way to expensive for what you get from it. Did a steal supply run, with standard armour and I was basically two shot of the NPC. See why people buy there resupply.
Not to be that guy but for most of the tests on the gun store armor was with the AP pistol AP = Armor Piercing Correct me if I’m wrong though cause I don’t know if it (AP pistol) actually does have better armor piercing power than other guns
Essentially your putting on a really thin lare of paper just for it to get torn up in minutes on the battlefield and then it’s your health bar as a last resort it mostly depends on what type of armaments are being used on the ammunations body armour it’s either going to slowly break away slowly by small arms or it’s gonna get stripped right off your skin in a instants by a shotgun or a sniper and on a side note how come doesn’t the ballistic equipment make a appearance in a video about body armour
Q: How does armor work? A: Its a magnet for NPC gunfire. I can't be the only one who survives missons longer if I DON'T use armor. I can get hit by one bullet from from an NPC and lose 80% armor. It's pointless.
Armor is all the same. the only thing that matters is if the armor line is full. You can stack them to fill your line. That's what I do when gta gives us full armor as a gift.
@@HarmNone my apologies i have a spelling disability on to of dyslexia. what I mean is using the ap pistol is anti airmer pistol and the airmer with clothing like skeey goggles,tac/bolit helmet, some tac vest's and airmerd vest's do reduce damage from guns but after you brake ther DR aka damage Reduction you will nead to re put on the outfit if you want I can send the item's wich I refer to the one's that do work un less Rockstar changes them resntly
