Does bustin' feel good? | GHOSTBUSTERS: SPIRITS UNLEASHED REVIEW 

I personally wish the ghosts could be customized more heavily than just skins and colours. I'd have loved to be able to choose their eyes, mouth, hands, accessories and all sorts of stuff like that.

Needs a couple more game modes too

I had to listen to the outro, I absolutely LOVE the score in the game and even one of my friends liked it which is kinda surprising to me! You can't really complare to the 2009 game but this is definitely right next to it in my opinion, this is close as you can get to a good Ghostbusters game and I can't wait for the future updates that could potentially make it even better ☝️ love the vid Jason! This game is amazing!! I'm hoping that Illfonic will come out with more playable ghosts, (apart from Slimer) particularly from The Ghostbusters, The Real Ghostbusters, and of course, The Scoleri Brothers from Ghostbusters 2. (Also, customizable suits... like the Ghostbusters wore in court while capturing The Scoleri Brothers.) Of course they, the ghosts, would have to fit in the game's format of making sense with its proper intentions, the description of the narrative. For that, I know some popular ghost characters will not be in this game as playable characters. But hey... you never know. To Illfonic, do your best. “We’re ready to believe you!” 😉

Speaking of favorite ghosts, despite my wife not having all the ghosts, she loved the drake ghost when it came to the power of possessing people. She was intentionally running my butt over with the civilians. With my game card not the best, it looked like a glitchy Sim flailing its arms around the room, which was comical.

I just picked up this game, but so far I find it much easier to just catch the ghost 3 times rather than go after the rifts. The rifts seem very hard to find. Anyone else feel this way?

I bought the game late Sunday night after watching you play it to see if it was something I'd enjoy. I was not disappointed! It's such a fun game, and I only have the ability to play with bots (I don't have Xbox Live). I'm already on level 50. My only regret is not getting it right when it launched.

I was a soda vending machine bouncing around the map when my wife heard, "THUNK THUNK THUNK!" while trying to find me. The voice told my ghost that the haunting was at 50% and could I taste it? I said, "I just want people to taste my nice refreshing drinks! Just don't open the cans right away!"

Ngl, it would be pretty cool if they added cosmetic stuff from Ghostbusters 2016... I really loved the designs for the gadgets, ghosts and costumes in that movie

Love the game so far, but I’m stuck on a side hustle where I need to solo closing 3 rifts, hard to tell people in a multiplayer game don’t help 😜. With that said I would love to see them add the courtroom from GB2 and of course The Sedgwick Hotel and The Library from GB 1. Love to see new equipment mods

Disapointing Slimer the only ghost from prior Ghostbusters media used. They had a perfect opportunity to use the Scoleri bros in the prison level, but created a new prison ghost instead.

You said it best that its a ghostbusters simulator but as much as i love the game, its very glitchy, missions dissappear so you have to start over, randomly stops sometimes, and as i said earlier the pick up trap button needs to be different than the vent Pack this things fortunately can be fixed.

Honestly I'm loving this game. It gives me the multiplayer mode that those of us on PC were denied from having back when Ghostbusters: The Video Game was THE Ghostbusters game to play. Luck for me I had it on XBOX 360 and got to play the multiplayer mode there and hoped that someone would mod it for PC, but alas... Anyway I'm glad you enjoyed it also and I also enjoyed Friday the 13th from Illfonic (being a kickstarter backer for that game also). Can't wait to hit max level eventually. Just need to get a regular team of busters to play with...

Whenever I play with my freind, neither of us ever get ghost and we are starting to wonder if we need five players if we want to bust a ghost that's our freind, is that how it works?

I love this game and I do hope that there will be more locations added soon for Ghostbusting and haunting.

I am of the same opinion, I usually don't like games of this type but I love GBSU and have been having a great time playing. Still not streamer friendly though as I have received 2 copyright strikes even when "who you gonna call" is not playing, the second one was rescinded when I pointed that out.

Id rather get another one Like Ghostbuster the game it was is one of the best single player games of all time like watching a 3rd film which it was a script written by Ackroyd and Ghostcorps.

i WISH there was a third person option. i was hoping to see my customized character and not just in the sparse cutscenes here and there. i spent a lot of time tweaking my character's features. i wanted to see myself as a Ghostbuster.

An awesome game, that seems to have a few nods to the older GB games, from NES to Xbox360. Really great gameplay. Wish they did have a story mode, or more co op modes or maps.

Yeah I'm at level 40 I haven't been playing it much because of the campaign of Modern Warfare 2 pretty much I'm stuck in a rock and a hard place. When I don't want to play multiplayer no more on MW2 I will definitely go back to playing at least 2 hours because my leveling up on that game very good to be very honest I did not like to Jason game for some reason cuz nobody would play the actual game right to work together to leave Camp Crystal Lake but this game you have to work together I don't like when people do not work together. I understand it's hard to get you to play Jason I understand that I tried a couple times but I know you're busy so it's not a big deal I thought it would be cool to actually stream with one of my favorite RU-vidrs. I understand you said you live in Canada so I don't think it should be hard to do that but if there's a day when you're playing in your online saying hey I'm online here's my gamertag I got the Xbox series X so I believe you do too I'm not sure. When I first started playing we had the same team for 12 games everybody let everybody trapped one ghost it's a very nice group of people. There were some people that had foul mouths that comes with a multiplayer game one guy told me this game is garbage I'm like then why are you playing it his answer was I'm still a Ghostbusters fan I had nothing to say after that is entitled to his opinion. But using f-bombs and stuff like that I don't play with people like that I'll get off the game if we the players are winning the game I'll get right off of somebody's cursing some people just don't have respect. If I were to review this game this game is a nice game to play once you get to 100 I don't think you can go any farther unless they do another level system like Call of Duty does. Hopefully they'll put more content in the coming year.

I have the game downloaded on my ps4, my sons ps4 and my son has it downloaded on his pc. I’m still going to purchase a physical copy because I don’t trust these online gaming stores and I want to always have access to the game.

it's a ok game for what it is. Still not as good as 2009 GB IMO but it's still a GB game so I'll support it.

They need to add the librarian ghost and like maps from the movies even the 2016 movie like on map of each movie 1984 ( Sedgwick hotel would be cool and they make it as big as the 2009 games hotel ,55 Central Park West aka Dana’s apartment and the top part with gozers temple) or the library where you can go to where the ghostbusters met the librarian ghost. 1989 ( the place where the defeat Vigo or the river of slime is a Easter egg to one of the maps ) 90s they could do something with the 2009 video game but maby they don’t have the licensing but they could put a map from the game or a Easter egg about the game 2016 ( subway or like the start of the movie place where the ghost scares the ghost locks him in the basement place ) 2021 ( the dirt farm , school ,town ,something from ghostbusters afterlife) And maby a place from the real ghostbusters These are just my ideas hopefully you like them add on if you want in the comments on this comment.

I love the visuals of the game. But as a solo player, I hate the time crunch aspect as I'm trying to locate the rift, meanwhile the ghosts run rampant, which has ruined my enjoyment and doesn't allow for exploration.

If it was 3rd person perspective for the Ghostbuster, I would own this game.

You might have a reference to that really undocumented IGN review - and I agree with you when you spoke on intro - that review is not relevant to me. It's better like you did, to make a documented review of some over playing it more than a couple of hours. I, myself, hit lvl 100 the other day and played it a lot. I really enjoy the game and I appreciate your fair review to the game.

I say, if Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed is in all platforms ( including Nintendo ) and everybody can play it without worrying about what platform it is, I’d be very happy knowing that we can all experience the game.

I love the game, my twin boys love it and my 2 year old loves watching it and cheers when you catch a ghost, this game has a lot of mixed reviews but as a huge fan of the franchise and of gaming I really enjoyed this game

It’s almost addictive. I can’t put it down. I finally unlocked my 3d glasses, that I have in my real uniform. So it’s nice to finally match myself. But I need Hawaiian shirts and more beard options, to fully immerse myself haha. And I commented already, but damn there should be multiple patches/animated gear/and graphic tees

Needs more content to keep me playing I have been enjoying it, but gets boring really quick. Would love a sequel to ghostbusters remastered with a good story. I am level 33 now only play has the ghostbusters all the time, only played 1 match has the ghost. I’ve 100% the spore and fungi stuff got most of the upgrades love the proton pack when blasting the stream and the poke meter. So I hope we get more locations to bust ghosts on and gadgets. Will get back to playing sometime soon. Who yaaaaaa gunnnaaaa caaalllll???

Had a personal moment here where I consider ghostbusters news to be safe for my 4 year old to watch. Then we just had Michael cutting off the head of a victim. Love your channel but can we have a heads up for the parents if content like this is involved. Otherwise love what you do Hence why I’m sharing it with my kid

The game is not bad but the dificult level is a bit high plus the use of the ghost should be optional not really need it or mandatory. I wanted to use the ghostbusters not really interested on the use of the ghost. I agree many people may like it but i wish it was an option not something needed. I preffer offline games but theres not much i can do. Still the game itself is not bad.

Well, I have to say, I came really close to refund this game. It started with the extrem lack of information even days before the release. You couldn't find any information about the games maps, modes or mod support. Then I installed the game and meet for the first time this lobby system. Not only has the game a nice expiration date, since you can't host a game via Lan or IP, but also does the interface not even tell, which button is for Online Match or Bot Match. Of course the amount of maps and game modes could also be better for a 30€ game. I know we will get more via updates, but they have to release it fast or else the community will die.

Playing PVP in these types of games is never fun and I find myself just sticking to bots which itself gets kind of boring after a while. It annoys me that it seems a lot of license games are doing this type of game. I'll just stick to the 2009 game.

Story mode hints Peter, hope to see the old cast and newer cast of characters be in the game as an update.

A symmetrical games are just an unfinished beta or demo to me it’s not a full game it’s cheap and unfinished imagine playing ghostbusters the video game and they deleted the story mode and just left the multiplayer mode it’s just sad this game has the potential of being an 8 hour story mode game but the developers are to lazy to do it so fuck it
