I used to take creatine and protein few years ago. But i've been fed up of spending money in complements. Instead I thought it would be best to buy better food. Since then I'm fully natural and even if I know protein and creatine could help me get better results, bigger muscles and more energy during the workout, I don't take any shortcut and keep training hard.
I'm the same. I was using creatine and although it is relatively cheap, the price has skyrocketed in recent months. To be honest I've made more gains by changing my approach to training. Maybe I could have got better results with creatine but I'm happy with my progress as it is.
@@ranierholmes47 Maybe. But who needs short cuts aside from the weakest ? To be more serious about this topic, I don't think it's natural to eat so much protein. And it's also not good for the livers on the long run.
I've stopped because the weight gain in water is actually not worth it, for my calisthenics and especially for my running. I'm just 5'8 and creatine gives me a tiny bit more of strength, I mean 2 % more but makes me 6 pounds heavier and my running is not enjoyable anymore. If you're just into body building, sure, go for it.
Thanks for explaining this so simply Andrew!! I've had creatine less than a handful of times and definitely noticed the difference! 💪🏼 Is creatine like caffeine, and can you become desensitised to its effects after prolonged use?
Ive heard many different opinions, many people say that for skills it shouldnt be used as the water weight is just to much, but i feel like if doing weighted cali it would be useful.
Anybody that doesn't believe creatine works must literally doubt science. I used to be a denier but since taking it, my strength had gone through the roof
