Great video but correction. Everyone forgets the bubble season and the season right after were shortened. Dame played 67 games in 2020-2021, and that season only had 72 games. Same thing with the bubble season. He’s missed only 2 out of 61 playoff games his entire career. The injury stuff is completely overblown.

Westbrook has been Injured every post season and affected his team. Playing Injured doesn't help. Steph has lost Injured many times.

@@bboywolf he wasn’t compromised until the end when Kevon looney fell on him during the series. He was healthy otherwise. Outside of the 1 core injury he dealt with for years and had surgically corrected, he’s been healthy. He has no chronic knee, foot, or ankle injuries. He had a calf strain early this year, but he rested and came back and dropped 71. He’s fine.

6:08 This play is probably why Giannis decided to work out with The Dream. The Bucks offense really could have benefited tremendously in the playoffs if Giannis had been able to convert these post plays. As much as everyone mocked it, I’m willing to bet that after a season or two to work on it, the moves Giannis will learn from Hakeem will completely transform his game.

As a Bucks fan, I can say that the team under Bud has been making stupid mistake after stupid mistake. They seem very underprepared when things break down, and can't seem to make simple reads to save their season. I think a huge reason for that is how dogmatic Bud has been with "play random". Meaning, if you don't have predefined sets the opponent will have a harder time adjusting on the fly. Which is a problematic view, to say the least. Sets are there to bail you out when things break down... Also, it's typical Bucks to have a play that works wonders (big play between Giannis and Brook) only to stop doing it for no reason and piss away the point difference. Furthermore, the Bucks offense was super predictable because it had no motion. No on ball motion or off ball motion. I hope Stotts can implement a ton of stagger pick-and-rolls with Dame/Giannis/Khris/Brook. All of them have to screen for the others. It will be devastating for the defense because you will always get a miss match or a wide open three to Pat or Malik Beasley.

Very well said. My biggest concern is if Giannis can adjust to a lesser role and play off ball more. For this team to be at its best, I really do think Dame needs to be the ball dominant one that the offense runs through. I'd like to see Giannis around 26-27 ppg, but his efficiency way up.

After watching the Miami playoff clips the first thing that came to my mind wasn't Dame. Just fully healthy and tuned in Giannis and Middleton would easily carry them over these 4rth quarters, just like the championship run. Dame takes them to whole other level offensively.

Don’t disrespect the Heat like that. Giannis has had the incredible luxury that no other superstar in history have had. He had someone who can make all the crucial and clutch defensive plays on the perimeter in Jrue. He also had the guy who’s going to take and make the big shots in playing games in Middleton. Fully healthy and tuned in my ass. Jimmy exploded for his highest point totals of the Milwaukee series in every game Giannis played. Giannis has a problem in the clutch. The year they won the title and had little to no issues in the clutch, Middleton and Jrue were the two key factors. No other superstar gets this type of treatment; he’s got low basketball IQ, he’s just a super freak athlete and deserves the praise but he doesn’t get criticized enough for his glaring weaknesses. Dame will save him.

At that point in the game a playoff team just keeps moving the scoreboard. In 20-21 they used the Middleton-Giannis pick n roll in the 4th. Giannis WAS clutch then. I remind you the Nets and Suns closing games.

Didn't KD had the "luxury" of Harden and Westbrook, two MVP caliber players on his OKC years before joining a team that had the best PG, SG and PF in the western conference? Wasn't that a "luxury"? What about the Nets, wasn't a "luxury" playing with Kyrie and Harden? What about Phoenix? What about the entirety of LBJ's career? They look WAY more luxurious to me than playing with an almost all-star in Middleton who after the championship year has been largely unhealthy and Holiday who nobody knew him before MIL's championship run.

Great video as always coach, pointing out the weakness pertaining all bucks, not only coaching staff, but players as well. They are very capable but enter panic mode whenever a quick response is needed, and I think Dame will help them figuring out this issue. Regardless his lack of rings, he plays as if he got as many as Steph, with lots of patience, and that killer instinct that Giannis could gather some momentum from. I was expecting a very similar season as we had in the last one, but this trade has really shaken things around, making me excited about whats to come.

Also other than in the 2021-2022 season dame hasn’t missed they many games. He would’ve played the most games he ever played since the 2020 season if they didn’t sit him the last 10 games. It's ok. Blazers probably only had 2 more good years of Dame, with how hard he had to go every night. Not everyone is LeBron and can play until 40. You guys have a good future since the bucks basically mortgage their future to get Dame. I could see Giannis having a similar time frame to Dwight Howard, where once he lost his athleticism he stopped being great and was mostly a good role player.

It's an intriquing combination. They need a little more depth for sure, especially some more players that can cover the 1 and 2 spots. So far they added Cam Payne, who can bring some offense as a backup 1, but they need someone solid on the floor that is quick and can cover some gaps. Jrue did all of that stuff, while also having his offensive responsibilities. Offensively, they look great, but I think they still have some work to do to get a championship level defense. They have quite a few guys that can handle the 4 position or function as smallball 5's, but completely lack depth everywhere else.

Giannis was coming last year out of injury, the man shot really badly his free throws but still had 35+ if I remember correctly..Kris and Jrue were the only players who could open up space on a VERY static Bud-made team anyway...What did they do? Brick after brick, TO after TO.....Grayson was nowhere to be found as a shooter. When your best perimeter shooter ends up being Brook Lopez you are in TROUBLE. I don't care if Giannis looses the +1s this year. What I care about is: 1. He doesn't kill himself constantly 1vs 5 leading to injuries and fatigue 2. He doesn't kill himself 1 vs 5 leading to poor defending due to fatigue 3. He HAS a player to trust from the perimeter so he WILL pick him up instead of going bully ball. If Kris is 80-90% himself as well we are in for a treat.

Well they won't be able to stop any star guards from scoring now, since lillard is a pylon. But their paint defense remains top notch, and lillard can go crazy on offense. So overall it's a plus for sure

disagree, they have 2 top tier defenders, Giannis and lopez not many teams have 2 elite defenders. They are weaker in defense than last year but that doesnt mean their defense is not good or they are going to struggle

The Bucks didn’t have an elite clutch scorer that’s what they needed. They have enough defense. There no perfect team. They will be fine on defense while being elite on offense at all levels and all points within a game.

I know that people who have less respect for Dame are gonna bring this up, so I will: while Dame is clutch, Coach, it has not exactly translated to his postseason play for the most part. Dame is very good in the playoffs overall and he has had clutch moments, but we have seen him fail to step up when his team needed him to, although that was usually against the better competition in the West (see his 2019 postseason run). Now that he is on a team with more legit options to rely on, he can definitely play a bit more freely.

The offense will get easier, especially for Middleton, and Dame is great under pressure. But Jrue caused so many problems for teams defensively, and combined with Lopez with Giannis helping, it was such a tough unit to beat.
