If you get rid of other sugars and sweet foods in your diet, you will find that the higher percentage cocoa tastes better. Once you quit sugar anything sweet tastes waaaay too sweet, and you taste the flavour of the chocolate more. That's been my experience anyway.
@@femalefitandfifty I'm not a morning coffee person, but have found that any sugar or sweet/carb foods in the morning will make me hungrier for most of the day.
I’ve noticed that too. When I cycle up on fibrous carbs, I “feel” hungrier throughout the day. That’s one thing I really like about the keto plan. Better appetite suppression.
@lanazak773 yes the Lily's dark chocolate and peanut butter cups do have erythritol. It hasn't bothered me, but my husband didn't feel good afterwards (note though, he did eat an entire candy bar and I usually only eat a couple of small squares). My youngest daughter also said she didn't feel well. I guess I got luck. I believe the Lily's chocolate baking chips have stevia. I was interested in trying those to see how they tasted too.
