Fr. Pine changes rather dry concepts into a contemplation of how beautiful and lovable is God.

I love what he says about "the 21st century isn't very confident that things can be known, .. it has given up on the intelligibility of reality. You think about our primary modes of discourse ... mockery, scorn, outrage, irony, suasion, protest, unmasking--it's all parasitic. It's not really a consideration of ... what's at stake and how can I access it. It's more so a consideration of what do I want done, and how can I manipulate things ready at hand in order to achieve my fell purposes...

And, really, how much can we know anything? Really...is anything a rationality of true existence? Or is everything a mere banality of truth ànd/or existence?

Thomistic motion is ontological and not physical.

The reasoning here is bizarre: "things which do not exist have potential existence," says the philosopher. A thing either is or it is not. I don't have a dog called Spot: according to this reasoning there is a nebulous entity which we can denominate as "dog-called-Spot-ness" which is waiting to be called into actuality; it has "potential existence." This is pure nonsense. A thing has existence if it can be said to be: If it cannot be said to be it is non-existent. Non existence is not a state - it is the absence of being, of actuality. This proposal harks back to the foolish assertion made by many Christian apologists that atheists claim that the universe was "poofed into existence out of nothing." A hypthetical state of complete nothingness cannot exist, because it is a state and a state is a situation that exists. An empty box may have no visible contents but its interior space still exists. As to the assertion that all moving things need a mover, cosmologists today state that there is natural conservation of movement in the universe, and that action is required to inhibit or stop movement rather than generate it. Unfortunately, neither Aristotle nor Aquinas were not in a position to understand what happens in outer space.
