I find in maine they only come back every 48 to 72 hours but only if alot of other deer around . I sat for whole season once and he never returned. I played all types of music recited poetry, ever hollered for hours to him and the asshole never came back. Maine bucks are assholes 😂😂😂😂😂
Not sure if your scrape definition includes a licking branch but up in MidMichigan we've watched numerous 2.5 yr olds, younger bucks, does and fawns utilize our licking branches hanging over scrapes. Unfortunately with 18 cams on 85 acres we have yet to see a 3.5 year old or older buck. Pretty sure that will change soon when the neighboring ag crops are harvested.
