I balled in 3's and 4's just to look cool like MJ, man o man these shoes are killers. Never felt so much knee pain in my life. Jordan is truly the goat to play with those shoes for 82 games a season.
really that's not crazy if you think about the quality of the Jordan three. there not gonna change the shape or stuff in it just because it isn't good for basketball today it was a shoe that released back in 1988 and it was a great basketball shoe back then but like everything over time the newer generation's way a playing basketball has evolved that's why its called a retro shoe because it was an amazing shoe back then that is still styleish now if you want a better Jordan brand shoe that is better for basketball buy a newer model with newer technology like the 31s
it is crazy price m8 because in 1988 it was leather now in 2016 is Nubuck/synthetic stuff is not even close to the quality m8 the only think they have updated in this shoe (apart from the fake leather) is the glue and they charge 180$ for that ))))
The PU foam needed time to break in. Same with the airbag in the forefoot. Compared to its contemporaries of the time such as the original Nike Dunks and Converse Weapons, these were relatively luxurious once the break in period happened. Most shoes today are built to feel broken in out of the box.
Sam exactly so you know the difference and what to expect. same traction, cushion, but different material. probably more support and and less ventilation.
Thank you so much for reading my comment and others I have been waiting on this review because no one else has better or as good reviews as you guys 👍👍👍
Hey guys, love this series. Could you do a "does it still basketball" with the and1 tai chi mid? Would be dope. It was such a legendary shoe in it's days. I would also appreciate the Jordan 18. Although not widely spread, I guess, I had it for quite a while until it was worn down like crazy.
@Michael Morales how fucking dumb can you be to think that anyone who doesn't like the shit shoes you like, stole opinions from others? damn kids like you are the kids everybody wants to jump
I have played in the 3's before, the traction was fine even with the clear outsole, cushion was awful, materials were ok, fit was fine for my wide foot, overall I would not play in them again.
That foam isn't the original foam in the midsole. They use very dense polyurethane foam nowadays. In the originals, they used less dense, softer polyurethane foam.
They say the cheapest shoes are the lillards, I rock the adidas isolation when I hit the court, they're like on sale now for $25 in adidas philippines.
Early of Basketball there wasn't any basketball shoes. Most of them tried converse, that was good, now we have modern shoes that is not perfect for basketball.
Sammy's question is hilarious. Would Jordan have played better with newer shoe technology? No. He wouldn't have, because everyone was on a level playing field for their time. I mean c'mon fellas- Bill Russell got 11 rings in CHUCKS. I didn't see Sammy asking this question when they were making their 'Does it basketball?' for Chucks... LoL.
Loved the 3 but yea the traction is total shit in these.... Been looking around to get another pair of the cp3 tribute however.... It's the 3 but different traction pattern. Awesome shoes to ball in my opinion
the new remaster Jordan's retro all the tracking are not so good, tracking i think the Jordan retro they create are made for casual wear not just for out door use for basketball
