Does Link have a Personality? 

Link's personality in botw is awesome. Not only is he a glutton, but he also jokes around a lot with people. For example when he told seal puns to the sand seal owner. It's funny because he really isn't a "silent protagonist". Every time you choose a dialogue option, those are Link's words. And he says really funny stuff sometimes lol He no longer has the burden to be silent like 100 years ago, no need to hide his feelings, now he is his true self, in part due to the amnesia.

I see Link as a fun, brave, humble, intelligent and strong hero

Very nice video, there's certainly more to BotW Link than some people think. I'll also highlight our boy in Majora's Mask a bit, I really like his duality as a character in that game. He's a silly, dorky kid at times which provides light heartedness, and then he's also like a knight which displays his maturity. Such examples are things like how he preforms his flips in gameplay, being a bit of a showoff. He breaks the 4th wall soon after being transformed into a Deku, via looking at the screen and shrugging his arms. (Turning into a Deku also a rare time in general where Link expresses actual fear by running away and tucking his head down) He cheerfully waves his own nightmares away when being cured of the Deku Curse, to then express his relief. (He also cheerfully waves the Giant Turtle goodbye when arriving in Great Bay Temple) He dances with the Rosa Sisters, which leads him to bashfully scratch the back of his head at their compliment to him of being, "so cool!". He literally marches with baby chicks. When he reunites with Epona, he gets overjoyed, displayed by how he dashes over to her with a clear smile. This is fitting as well because when Link learns from Skull Kid that he did something to Epona, Link expresses he is clearly upset by this knowledge. Then there's also how he gets excited when getting a power up from the Great Fairy, via holding his hands close to his chest, only to then throw them up in the air, like a "Yeah!" pose. There's plenty more to go over but yeah, he's still a kid at heart. But then he's also a knight. His respectful and honorable nature is shown via things like him bowing down for the Deku Princess, and for the Rosa Sisters as well (before getting bashful). His whole motivation for even embarking on this quest is because he wanted to find his "beloved and invaluable friend", which shows both his child-like heart and sense of loyalty. He salutes Captain Keeta so he may have his rest with honor. And perhaps what is in general one of the most noble things ANY Link has done, the Mikau scene. Link finds the time, when the clock is ticking down, to make a grave for this person who has just passed away, a person he knew for all of 5 minutes. Not only does he make a grave for Mikau, but he also writes a message on it for his people to read, so that he is remembered. Not only that, Link then bows in respect for Mikau’s death…by all accounts, Link has more important things to do, but this was more important to him personally, that is true honor. It’s only more important to keep in mind that Link is a mere boy, an ignorant child raised in a forest. Body language goes a long way for Link as a character, actions speak louder than words. Be it BotW or MM like i've given some examples of, but across the series in general!

I like this, and I definitely agree with your points. My only disagreement is in the example of the Link with the strongest personality, although Breath of the Wild would definitely be second place for me. I would argue that Link's Awakening had the strongest personality for Link. His little face is so expressive, especially for the time. I believed in his crush on Marin more than any ZeLink pairings, and I really thought they convincingly portrayed how upset Link was when he learned the truth about the island. The flashbacks at the end showing Link thinking of all his friends as he disappears, the personality shown on his date with Marin, the insane amount of character he shows in the photos in Link's Awakening DX. The entire game felt like an explanation of Link's personality.

INTJ because INTJ's are usually really smart. ENTJ's are called the commander. The introversion of that is INTJ because Link hides his feelings and appears really quiet. Throughout the game you know he has to be very intelligent with all puzzles he has to solve and he has to fight a frickin Lynel!!! This is no task for anyone but the highly intellectual that are xNTJ's

Amazing video but sometimes I do wish Link had pre fight dialogue with bosses. Like, insult them or something.

Lots of people saying botw link talks ... He is not really a talker ...he talks if he needs to otherwise he remains quite 90% of the time . Botw has alot going in where communication is much more needed compare to the other Zelda games ...but this like to me is more serious then the other link ...( Except the twilight link ) they are about the same .

As much as I love Zelda games, it's not hyperbole to say that Link is not really a character: he is an avatar for the player. I do like that in BOTW, they sort of leaned into the fact that he doesn't speak and tried to give a lore reason as to why that is, but in my opinion they haven't gone far enough in that direction for it to be considered a character trait. It's still just a quirk of the games. This is something that's so baked into the Zelda formula that I've long since given up on them changing it (in fact, trying to change it now might ironically make his "character" worse).

I just started play with my nephew breath of the wild and is a good game but link is a bland character because is hard to relate to silent 🤫 characters
