There is a fair point here for Micah, so many pundits have said if Harry Kane was in Manchester they would have done the same thing, not taking away from Haaland but if it doesn't matter if who the striker is, how much weight is on the performance. Micah accolades have more weight, he was at City when City were "No One".

At 17, he literally *SAVED* his team from getting knocked out like a superhero & they got their replay & won that. People need to look at that particularly in terms of *heroics.* At 17, he immediately put his name on the map after that heroic goal.

I'm getting a bit sick of hearing about this guy now. The reason he was nominated for England player of the year is because we failed to qualify for Euro 2008 that year so every established first teamer was in disgrace.

Not a chance you were clearly watching another footballer, big Meeks was very good and there’s a solid reason he got an England call up at a young age and it wasn’t because he was ‘average at best’. Average at best players get sent on loan to some 4th tier team, they don’t start for a premier league club and the England national team.
