Yep! S1mple needs that Faker style transition. Faker was the star carry of the team and switched to a supporting igl role when other younger midlaners caught up and that's how he dominated the #1 esport in the world for a whole decade. And I think s1mple can do the same with his experience.

i agree with you. even tough s1mple is the goat navi plays too much around him so others cant shine but now whole navi team performing at their finest and its beautiful

you probably dont watch navi interviews or the voice comms. they many times said that the team has a great energy and most of the time they have fun on the tournaments

ngl, your point about Astralis is why I stopped watching much pro CS -- or following a team, I just pop in for clips and seeing the next talent, who is now donk, whereas it was monesy as simple v2 just a few months prior, and so on. Astralis made CS feel like a ''real'' sport because of their consistency. It wasn't luck, it wasn't a fluke, teams could transfer star players around and still not crack the Astralis code, it was just 5 players working in perfect synergy who stuck together and perfected the meta, winning without even dropping a single map. Once they split, I was kinda done with CS. I feel like if you take a break from CS (or any sport) for 6-12 months and literally that one average team is now the best team ever, but everyone has also switched players, I just dunno fam, I don't like it. It makes the game feel less legitimate as a true ''sport''. It's like playing FIFA or PES back in the day and every transfer window would just be so ridiculous you couldn't take it serious a couple seasons in. Simple not being on Navi shocked me, Astralis not even being the best team in Denmark is wild, but device is back at least, Faze are actually...good and not just Niko, who now is on G2? And wtf is a team Falcons and why is dupreeh, magisk and zonic there? Weren't they just on Vitality? I could go on and on. Maybe some people like all that, I don't. There's no ''team'' anymore, it's just a random assortment of the same Top players who shuffle around endlessly with random teams winning eventually.

He simply has lost his drive to compete, especially in cs2. Perhaps we will see him as an stand in at some events or even fully transition to a different game, Navi Valorant roster needs some help at this point.

I'm pretty sure s1mple has stated that he doesn't want to play with a Russian-majority team as long as the war is going on. You don't have to agree with his stance, but you won't be able to force him to do it, either.

If they were to keep the majority Russian roster (unless electronic, BoomI4, and perfecto were to abandon their Russian citizenship) would be canceled by the Ukrainian public and government as well. There is also a law that prohibits Ukrainian athletes to perform in tournaments where there are Russian players or something of that sort. TL:DR this example doesn’t apply

Don't miss the whole point of this comment. I still regard s1mple and m0nesy as the 2 of the very best awpers rn. But to win a tournament, you only wanna need a decent awper and a really great team synergy. Take nicodoz for example or story or boom1... (from cloud 9), their teams managed to reach playoffs in certain cs2 tournaments.

Faze would go to shit. Nobody in Faze (except for maybe Karrigan) has the mental to deal with S1mple, and they would all be salty about whoever was kicked to make room for him.

Broky is one of the best players in the game. Dude is insane with the awp AND rifle. Underrated player. Replacing Broky with S1mple as awper would be a mistake though

This is not the case. I think players in the team sort of cared to make mistakes in s1mples presence. That's why after he left they are performing well
