I just want to say listen to Coach Lee! He got me through a terrible time over the past 3 months after I was dumped. He gave me the courage and strength to stay in no contact and radio silence and at about 3 months she broke the silence, we’ve reconnected and are doing better than ever. True love prevails, and it is crucial to watch and listen to all of his videos through a breakup! @@twistedstoic same, my short term partner left me due to depression . I stayed by her side for 8 weeks. I didnt beg and plead but let her know i was there. Then she pushed me away and said we need to end it completely when i couldnt contain my feelings one day. Its now been 3 weeks of NC.

In my case it did. He came back after half a year. I had lost more rhan 50 lbs, got a good paying job, improved myself. We are together and he is doing everything possible to win me over!!!

It almost did. And i didn't want him still don't so i found these videos and realized what he was doing. Now i am doing this entirely. I want us to part were both to toxic. Updates he's a soical path I didn't want him and he kept using bs to get to me now it will be a month no contact but there's a problem we have kids. He kept using them as tools to get to me. :(

Yes, but my dumper was straight into another relationship....for me that has been a jagged little pill to swallow. I do hope for a conversation at some point though. I'm in NC and that is where I will stay! Thoughts?

You guys… please listen to Lee. It really does work-but you have to get yourself into the right mindset during NC. During NC, you need to boss up. Give yourself the love you want. Take care of your amazing body and soul and really pour attention and care into yourself. Get stronger mentally, physically. Get spiritual. Get curious and fun-seeking. Get sexy. ;) When they come back (which is MOST of the time… trust), you will be so strong and healthy and amazing that your S.O. is going to have to level up in order to regain their relationship with you… if that’s what you want! Stay NC and use your new free time to invest in YOU.

@@rowdybliss Got blocked twice now. First one was in July for a month and she unblocked me cuz she was curious if I'd texted or trying to go around the block. But I reached out afterwards and in November got blocked again and still not unblocked but it is good in a certain way because helps the NC. I'm now in a mindset like Lee said: if she comes back, she does. If not, well so be it. But deep inside you kinda 'hope' that she does ^^

I’m 34 days NC, still not sleeping, eating ok, gym 5 days per week. Trying to work. Not bad considering my ex terminated our relationship with a 45 second FT call after 8 years together. @@minigengarr4729 well, I found out there was infidelity so it’s not gone well. I still hurt but it gets a little easier everyday. We’ve had some contact but it’s not been great. I wish I’d have ignored her messages but I can’t beat myself up for replying. I believe NC is a must, I’ve restarted NC and I will not reach out again ever. Is she cheats, send her back to the streets. It just isn’t worth your sanity and the heartache. So if you’re reading this do everything you can possible to not contact your ex!!!!!!!!

@@d34285 Yeah, I'm trying everyday. It is still hard as I'm still in the dark as to why the break up happened 100%, although when I say that, I actually think I know the answer. Anyway, I did reach out with a letter, silly I know but I've forgave myself, and forgiven her too, it has been a good few weeks since we have had any contact. Time to focus on what is most important in life.....our happiness. We grow with each life lesson and what this taught us is we can always be better not for her but for our happiness. No contact works in every case as long as you’re not the one to initiate contact and certainly, not one or two months down the line. It’s too soon for most people. If you initiate with someone who left you, you’re putting yourself in the “weak” position and it’s an ego stroke like coach Lee says. It has to be a meeting by chance or “by chance” or even better let them come to you. It works, I speak from experience. Time is on your side people, don’t view it like an enemy. Thank you coach Lee!

Yeah my ex came back a month later and ended it again. Broke my heart all over again but maybe it was just too soon. It feels not as bad but more final since he said he wasn’t in love with me. I just don’t understand why he came back at all only to end it again.

@@godsavethecoffeecake probably he wasn’t sure it was over for him, or he got lonely or he just wanted to know he could have you. Mine reached out a few times over the first four months post break up and I didn’t respond at first because it felt too pretentious but then the third time he texted something similar to all of his exes (I’m friends with my predecessor so I knew) and I got so mad I couldn’t let him think he was fooling us. Now he’s unemployed, promising marriage to a trans wannabe singer (he hated trans and gay people with burning passion) I mean... I still care for him, but I pitty the man I see. I will forever love the version of him I used to know but since it’s not the person he is anymore... It feels a lot like mourning someone who died, you know?

This is smiliar to my situation. I had this special person. Very caring and loving and has high interest and desire towards me. There was one time we stopped talking because i couldn’t commit to her yet. When we stopped communicating i did everything to get her back and she told me she was seeing someone already. However after i found one it didn’t work out with that guy for that guy ghosted her/left her less than 3 months or so. I started connecting with her and so did she with me and asked her if something happened between that guy and she said she did everything for him especially giving herself to him because she liked him. It was a disappointment for me because how can you give yourself to a person that easily and left you just like that. That held me back for committing to her. But i still showed her and gave her what a boyfriend would do for his girl. February i distanced myself to think if im ready to be committed to her however she didn’t want it anymore. For a month of march i tried to get her back but failed and told me to move on and might find someone better. So right now i have walked away and stopped communicating with her even though she wanted friendship. Oh well.🤷🏽‍♂️life as we know it.

After 4 months of no contact! My ex reaches out to me today! My heart was in my stomach I couldn’t believe it. I Ofcourse , gave it a few hours before I respond and sure enough he hasn’t stopped texting me. Don’t ignore like coach Lee says but don’t give away too much too soon! If he wants me back he’s gotta work for it. Trust in the power of time and trust that no contact works it allows them to experience the break up that they asked for. Life update it’s been a year and a few months since the break! We are not together and we no longer keep in touch. Iv learned to love and put myself first, I realized I couldn’t make someone happy because I wasn’t happy with myself. I sacrificed too much and neglected my own needs. While Coach Lee paved the way, I now believe in self love and self worth. Time does heal all wounds, I have a new career that allows me to travel and meet the world and couldn’t be happier. While self love continues to be my priority I look forward to my future prospering in all aspects of my life!

Answering requests, the update: she hasn't come back, nor do I think she ever will. However, things are indeed going much better with my life. If I can survive this, anyone can. Just focus on improving as a person, helping people that are in even worse situations and having fun, and soon enough you won't even have mental room to suffer that much.

No contact works! I wanted my own success story and now I have it! My ex and I have been broken up for 3 months before he reached out and admitted to wanting us trying again. We are taking things slow. We are texting every day and it feels so weird after 3 months of not talking, it doesn't feel real! We have our second meet up scheduled tonight. Coach Lee, I’ve watched all of your videos and I think this one is extremely underrated. This is my favorite video on your channel because it gives people hope that my ex may be back one day and helps you move on at the same time. Some videos get me in this hole where I only focus on getting them back, but this one helps me reframe my way of thinking. I was going to the gym and fixing my diet and seeing a therapist and all of these things to get her back, but I’m doing it for myself now. Im doing it 90% for myself and only 10% for her. Wow! I have to say that you are one of the best coaches that I’ve seen on RU-vid. You have a really positive and calming presence and it has helped me get through these hard times. I haven’t spoken to my ex since the middle of November. He sent me a text message on Christmas but didn’t bother to tell me Happy Birthday on Christmas Eve. He is soooo PETTY! I still haven’t spoken to my ex since November. He continues to send me messages and calls me regularly. He even called and texted me from someone else’s phone two weeks ago because I blocked him in November. My best friend is so proud of me for finally moving on with my life. I’ve been working on myself for the last 6 months and I feel much better. I have weak moments from time to time, but thanks to Coach Lee’s encouraging videos I’ll be just fine. 🙂

It s been a month for me and I felt great but now i found out that he is with somebody else he didn t even have the decency to hide it from me... at least for a while. He promised me he would not be with someone new because he didnt feel the need, and i told him i want to be with someone new, who would show me the love i want and give. But here I am, single, no need for anyone, just myself... anyway, the girl is a nurse he would talk crap about... and a friend of mine met them a week ago. I feel so hurt and furious but at the same time i feel free and ready for what comes next no matter what life brings me. Because i don t want to do this NC this with the idea that He will contact me again. No. I suggest you to do the same. I think that Coach Lee insists on the idea of us getting better, loving ourselves and enjoying our lives alone. And it really is a blessing to be alone and do what you love. Not to mention that many times i just didnt feel happy around him, I felt caged, I felt like he didn t want me to be happy. I didnt want to make changes( start dance lessons, go out, go to the gym, even work more) because I was afraid i wouldnt spend enough time with him!!! That s toxic

Yes yes yes she came back. Things are still fresh we have 3 children been together since 2011. I didn't do everything right at first but I stay in no contact since may 2020 I saw the signs along the like you talk. So yes people Coach know what he is talking about it's hard but focus on you give them the break up and stay away. Yes it's hard some days and easier some days. After awhile I was really planning my life with her. She got to see what life was like without me. Like I said it's still fresh but 10 years together is very hard to walk away from. Even tho our conversation started leaning towards the issue of the matter, I've continue to stand on good morals without devaluing myself. Even though she was persistent in having things her way, Ive continue to stay strong to the point of her finally realizing her own toxic perception. @lliana C Things eventually went back to normal and unfortunately she became too comfortable enough for her to go back into her old ways, so I stonecold dumped her recently a week before Valentine's day and I never looked back since then. But now I have another headache to deal with, and that's all these options of women with redflags since I've been in the gym. She tried contacting me through texts messages for me to see her, but I just ignored her and her lack of taking accountabilities. We both know this movie has ended now.

Thanks for this advice. I was hit with the “I need sometime apart”. Similar to what you said she had already prepared her reasoning but by means of speaking to her friends I guess to validate her decision. I said there was no point as I didn’t want to be left in suspense, gathered my stuff and left. My regret is that by not communicating with her on that day I acted irrationally and that I concluded our relationship due to being so hurt. I didn’t want my reaction to be a power play to gain control by means of manipulation to take back what she said, I was just hurt to be feeling so rejected after everything we’d been through.

Sounds like I was a lucky one, had about a three week period before I found these kinda videos reassuring me that ceasing contact was the best thing for me. Thankfully I only had one instance of weakness the day after the breakup where I didn’t beg, but questioned whether this was really what she wanted. After getting a harsh response I apologized and said asking was a mistake, and I’ve been solid for almost 4 weeks now. Slowly but surely gaining confidence that regardless of what happens I’ve done the right thing for myself.
