I have the note 8 and when I go to wal mart I use my pen on the s9 s9+ and galaxy 9. So it works but you might would have to download an app. Also you can download different pen apps to make you're pen do a lot more.

This is really excessive true. But in the same time being a fragile part it might need something sturdier. My opinion, Amazon is the one wasting a lot of cardboard

True. Amazon is using to big of a box many times for little items. This one is not bad considering that it needs a sturdy box. Pen is fragile.

I have tried. The Note 9 S-Pen wouldn't fit in the Note 10+ but the Note 10+ S-Pen would fit in the Note 9 although in a weird way as the Note 9 S-Pen is more square while the Note 10+ S-Pen is more rounded off.

Wish there were a Note 8 S-Pen replacement with basic Bluetooth functionality. Could use that for playing/pausing content as I present and give notes in my classes...maybe I'll upgrade my 756GB Note 8 to the 1TB Note 9 in another year or two for cheap if the Note 11/12 doesn't have a headphone jack or they still have a hole in the display...

To make the Note 9 pair with a new pen you need to insert into your phone and then the bluetooth pair automatically. So if you cant get the pen in the phone there is no way to see if it will pair.....but at least you tried so others don't.

what I cant help wonder-is why you thought the "ink" would be yellow?? You know you can change your writing color-well, at least on Note 9 you can select different colors..... I know-Mind Blowing. At least it were fur me. :D

Yup, just minus the bluetooth functionality obviously. It also sits a little loosely in the S Pen slot. Source: Me, I have a Note 9 and a spare Note8 S Pen.
