"Turn our great earnings into doing good for others" Love this! Thanks for laying out how it's not simply about money or about business, but about our heart and whether we're stockpiling or allowing resources to flow through us. I also appreciated the difference between prosperity gospel and a focus on Jesus as provider.
I'm having fun on your page love you Simon I've been watching them for hours now can't quit thank you so much for the true word of God it's hard to find somebody that tells the food today thank you so much I found you in the midnight in my garage seeking the two word of God for 2 years
Thank you so much for these podcasts! They really help me make sense of the things going on in today's world, answer questions I have, and help me discern what is right or wrong from God's point of view, as I try to become a better Christian 🙂
That's because they want you to have all the things that they have and you keep giving and giving and helping that you'll be like them it's bad been there done that 25 years ago never again I got out thank God
Well thank you again because that's not the way I am I'm not into prosperity I'm not into materialistic I can give all my money away and be happy thank God for your ministry I'm really getting so much out of it I can't I can't even believe that I ran across your site because God knows I've been looking for a website like yours because I can't get out and go to church because of my cancer it affected me a lot of side effects because I had really bad cancer in the head going to the base of my brain a lot of chemo a lot of radiation and I have a lot of side effects but I'm still searching I was happy about 15 years ago and a word of God but I'm happy now because I don't listen to prosperity
We all have sinned and fell short of the glory to God. The problem is, that God is holy and doesn’t live with sin. So we all deserve to go to hell, but Jesus paid the price so you don’t have to. All you have to do is confess Jesus as your savior and repent (turn from all sin) and you’ll be forgiven and on the way to heaven
Tremendous. People who worship money will never be happy and will put it before their calling. It’s important to always put the kingdom before a chance to make money if there is a choice. For example Chick Fa La is closed on Sunday.
Scripture? Why would anyone go by that? Here are the rules, if you made money honestly then you can do whatever you want with it, BUT, Jesus said that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. The reason is because there is only so much money and the unequal distribution of wealth causes poverty. If you earned the money by a random event, then you owe some part of it to the community. If you earned the money by dishonest means then it is not yours and you should return it or donate all of it.
Jesus says.."No man can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and Mammon." why are you even discussing this? It seems pretty plain to me. And the parable of Lazarus and the rich man and the parable of the rich young man. do you bible people ever read what Jesus said? That you have to ask someone else what they think? What difference does it make what Pastor John thinks? You are sheep of the Wrong Fold. And if you had a truly good pastor he would tell you to read the Gospel of Matthew chapters 5 6 7. It is all there folks. The rest of bible people opinions are just that..opinions of men.
The Bible also clearly talks about teachers of the Word. Not only talking specifically to those teachers (James 3: 1-2) but also to disciples and being under a teacher (Matthew 10:24 & Luke 6:40). So for people wanting to learn from a man who diligently and responsibly teaches the Bible is nothing bad.
@@kathleenwharton2139 Not saying he isn't but taking that 1 part of a verse and secluding it purely without context isn't correct. The whole context there is about pharisees and false teachers. There is nothing wrong with teachers of the Word that teaches the truths of Jesus, who yes is the 1 and only true teacher. Christ is the teacher of truth and him alone, how are you supposed to be a disciple if you don't proclaim and teach the gospel? Just food for thought. God bless.
I Can Entrepreneur Jesus is my Teacher. I teach sometimes..but I only teach what Jesus Said to teach. Jesus Told us what to teach..I do not teach the commandments of men.
We have to remember that not all people are on the same spiritual Level some are actually New Believers and are on their way to be Great things for Christ...Jesus Never got mad when they asked questions he simply answered and taught them and they became Great disciples of God..I must say some of their question did not seem very smart either but Got answers non the less...I hope this answered your Question God bless u Bro!
