I know how late I am to reply, but seeing you two interact with each other, as a bartender myself, just makes me so happy. Two pillars of youtube cocktails giving each other props. Love you guys!
Cara’s shaker from Behind the Bar channel just flew behind me 🤷♂️. In case you missed it here is the link to the original video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XOI7B9WmYJs.html
You make such amazing videos. You're my favorite bartender youtuber. The production on your channel is top quality. I loved the humor in this one and will definitely try this drink!
Wow, I never realized you could use the strainer to separate the white from the yolk. That's bloody genius! As is how much effort you put into these episodes. You've got a new fan, today!
Wooooah Kevin the egg white through the Hawthorne Strainer is GENIUS! Cara doesn't know what she missed!! You'll be the star next time for sure! The head on the Ramos as well is what we all dream of achieving!
The Hawthorne strainer comes in handy for that too. Haha, I think that she did an awesome job with getting all-star RU-vid bartenders in one episode and I am sure, that the all-star team will grow really fast since we have such talented people in this niche. Including you! You guys are doing an amazing job! Thank you!
This was the first time I tried this cocktail. I must say that not only the flavour took me to my childhood when my grandma used to cook schneeknockerl once a week for me, this is also on my top 3 list!!
That was great The intro was supper That expectant wait and then the shaker passing behind you, and of course who doesn't want to measure their foam......
I’ve seen tons of people struggle getting the column of foam on RU-vid. A bar in my town specializes in this drink and they charge $20 and spend forever shaking. Your methods, specifically the reverse dry shake, and putting some soda water in the glass first makes this so easy to achieve that I got it in my first try, even without excessive shaking! It also helps to chill everything, including the shaker tins
@@KevinKos you and Anders are two of my favorite Content Creators. You for you cocktail engineering and food science and Anders for his mastery of the art of classic mixology. Cheers!
Awesome! One cocktail I enjoy. Made it several times with friend shaking the full 12 minutes as dares or challenge really makes for a fun experience and a good laugh.
As a nod to Fat Tuesday, I put on the March specials at my home bar - The Corner Bar - the Hurricane & The Ramos Gin Fizz, two classic NOLA cocktails. I'm going to have to try using vanilla syrup and the reverse dry shake. Cheers!
quality production, nice shots, nice techniques and comments, nice little pinches of humour plus having your own classy yet fun style, no doubts your channel will grow, and fast ! Congrats man ! 👌👍
Thanks so much for this video, I made it (with substitutions of half and half for cream, and three drops angostura orange bitters for orange water, ‘cause that’s what I had haha) and I still got the cylindrical pearls above the rim! I couldn’t find a version Anders had done, but I saw he collaborated with you and I’m glad I stopped by! Thanks
Hi! I'm new in the channel and I really love your way to explain, your videos and the techniques you use!!! I see an amazing future for you guys!!! Good luck!!!
Amazing video, loved the intro especially. I myself made a variant of the cocktail with tequila, agave and orange bitters (I didn’t have orange blossom water) and somehow it ended up tasting like yogurt.
Made it for the First time and… it was perfect! Thanks By the way.. The start of this video is very Funny! Can you make a cocktail with beerenburg? (it’s a drink from Holland)
You did it again, great work as usual. Must try this one at least once for I like Gin cocktails. Have you tried the Gin Basil Smash? I would love to see your take on that...
Such a greatly executed drink! I never manage to get the foam that high in the glass. And I think I shake really hard! You achieved that without chilling in the freezer as well 😯. Any more tips for me? Always top quality on your channel 👍🙏
Dairy products have to bo be poured in the shaker the last and if you still don't get foam that big, try to shake a cocktail with one big ice cube and a couple of small ones. I found out, that a big ice cube really shakes the drink and gives the cocktail even bigger foam (Sasha Petraske was so right about that). If you have only classic ice cubes you have to give it your all into this drink 💪 You can do it! Thank you!
Loved the video!! Just got a parisian shaker like yours a while ago and found it too cumbersome to use. This is inspiring me to take it out of storage again. Also, where can I find the recepie for the vanilla syrup?
Hi Kevin it's a nice video I have a question for you How can I make just the foum and used with another drinks because we are Muslims we can't make with gin So I just want to make afoam with another recipe without gin I hope you answer me
This book is a bar book with 64 cocktails but there aren't any measurements and instructions since we are using it as a menu in the bar. But I might surprise all of you by releasing a new book for all cocktail enthusiasts. Who knows 😉
@@KevinKos wow you actually interact with your viewers that's awesome. Anyway I tried making this drink to some success. I think it's difficult to get the foam right.
Of course. Sometimes with a bit of delay but always with pleasure. You are right. It's a tough one to achieve but with the right technique, you can achieve it. Try to add one big Ice block with some small cubes into the shaker. I figured out that I get the best foam by shaking it like this.
Must be shaken for no less than 12 minutes 🥵 ~~~ Are you Croatian ? Beautiful Accent ~ Had it made with Rose Water ~ Enchantée & Rose Petals Atop 🌹~~~ The Crean Moustache is A Must & The Ladies Love That Too 🙀 💋
