DOES THE GALLEON FEEL LIKE EASY MODE? - Sea of Thieves 

Equal level players the brig beats every ship in sole combat it's maneuvering is comparable to a sloop. The only thing the gally is good for is pve because it can kill sharks skellies and spirit ships super fast

@@arctrog tf are you talking about brig is the worst ship in the game. Terrible barrel placement, only one more canon than a sloop, and second fastest in nearly all wind directions. Doesn't have an upper deck like a galleon or a slightly upper deck like a sloop, and the brig is placed in the middle, making it vulnerable to canons from all sides, whereas the slip has a blind spot where the brig is. What are you smoking?

​@@user-lz6iz5cb8v ah i see you've watched RU-vid videos but have no real experience so let me break it down. 1. the speed difference in all wind directions between the brig and the highest competitor is smaller than people realize. Because the brig is so well rounded in it's speed it can out chase or out run any ship. Sure, if a sloop goes against the wind or a galleon with you'll get yourself a small lead for a short time but you'll quickly run out of room and have to engage, meanwhile the brig can shift directions nearly as fast as the sloop making major gains in any chase. 2. the single deck for the brig is a detriment for sinking speed, but on a good crew the sinking speed is so slow on all ships that the benefit you get from faster hole access is far greater in magnitude. you'll only find yourself in trouble running it 2 man which is a dumber decision than running a galleon with 3. Finally the galleon has a spiral on it's sinking as it becomes nearly impossible to save the ship once the enemy crew gets you to second deck because you have 2 deck levels of holes you have to repair one of which you can't access because it's under water. 3. The brig. this is where i see you watched a video and didn't actually learn this in game. The benefit the sloop gets from brig placement is so miniscule that it doesn't effect the performance of the ship. the benefit the brig gets from the extra crew member is so high that, it far outplaces the "armor" the brig provides on the sloop. 4. the galleon USED to be the best ship in terms of engagement right after they got rid of the manowar, but they nerfed it into the ground to now it's the worst ship. the placement of it's stairs detriment it so heavily in the bailing process that the ship has become an easy sink for anyone of equal or even slightly lower caliber. it requires 4 to 8 times the resources to keep afloat which means you will need 3 outposts or to take on a ghost fleet right when you enter the server. just to compete with any competent brig crew. the sloop comes close enough to the brig in terms of battle power that a solo slooper can decimate a 2 man brig, but a 3 man brig (of same skill level mind you) will decimate the solo slooper and beat a duo. if you have any other claims for me to refute shoot away.

@@arctrog Half of your essay is opinionated. I have outrun countless brigs while solo slooping, it doesn't always come to engaging in a fight. Two: belittling my points with no actual evidence of it being true doesn't validate your argument, it weakens it. Three: an extra crew member doesnt give any larger ship an advantage, as long as the smaller ship has the maximum amount of crew members, and a similar skill level, it doesn't make the brig any more efficient, because both have the ship working at its maximum

There could be many reasons for that lmao. Me and my crew we love PvP and we know tips and tricks but a lot of the times we meme out and get kegs. I remember there was a time where we kegged 2 sloops a galleon(they were good successful keg not sink) and 2 brigs. Sunk em all except gall. It was fun. But we always msg the ppl and give loot back. Smthn i learned from mason is to not be toxic.

Yeah .. Because crows is the only smart place to put the kegs, as it causes the least amount of damage to your ship if they are set off. The cosmetics you have on mean nothing at all.

Always feel bad for the crews that just get sunk by streamers and then they leave without even selling the loot they just fought for.

@@bluefacedquack2799 Yeah that's one of the shitty things I can't get over streamers doing. Like sink people and play for pvp sure but at least be decent enough to sell the loot you steal, it's kind of disrespectful otherwise. Just because you have followers giving you good servers doesn't mean you have to sink people and leave the loot to sink. At least give it to one of your followers to sell or something if you really don't wanna do it.

play whatever you want lol every weapon is strong and to make you feel good some of the pro players rock the sword like always

using the sword is insane if you know how to do it. Chain lunging with bunny hopping to dodge bullets can take down even the best double gunners.

The sword works very well for pvp if you know how to use it. The main advantage is the mobility it gives you with lunges as well as sword hops. It's great for running circles around people and confusing them. You do have to learn to jump around people a bit to avoid being one-blundered or two-tapped by skilled double gunners. Weapons are mostly personal preference.

Gilded Phoenix Hull from twitch drops, it's my current go-to hull so I know it by heart lol
