None of this makes sense. Why did Cody look so dejected on camera? I don't think he'd show his cards like that unless he was told to. Yes, he looks terrible. This has been executed very poorly. But you know what that doesn't mean? That it's legit. That's because we have many, many examples of badly booked angles in professional wrestling. Thousands. Dating back decades and decades. It's entirely possible to execute a plan poorly or even to have a bad plan. That is a thing that does happen

They were muting a lot of it especially near the end of the show I think they completely muted many "rocky sucks chants" they couldnt do it in the first 30 minutes cause they didnt expect it and it would of been to obvious but near the end they were able to control and mix the crowd sounds.

I get where you're coming from. The Bloodline story should end with Roman vs Rock. However it doesn't need to title. Roman is never gonna be full time again. That is an attraction match so it really doesn't hurt either guy to lose it. The way it should end is Roman losing the belt to Cody. Then he goes on to the Rock. Rock can beat him (not for the belt). Then after being this unstoppable force for so long it looks like he's losing it and that's how the Bloodline falls apart. He can have matches with Solo and Jimmy. You could make Solo and Jimmy even bigger stars in the process. Roman could become a face, or Solo and Jimmy could. Wrestling isn't difficult, at least not as difficult as they are making it just now.

100% rock thought he was gonna be the returning conquering hero. After the fast and furious, black Adam, and Oprah stuff, his ego and public image has taken a huge hit

If this was a work, it's the dumbest one they've done. They made Cody look like an idiot, Seth look like a joke that no one wants to wrestle, and The Rock look like a complete asshat. It accomplished absolutely nothing positive.

Works typically have some kind of internal logic that's clear once the plot twists reveal themselves. This looks like exactly what it was: a shocked reaction to an outraged fan base.

Like I said, you have no way of knowing if it's a work or not. You just *hope* you're correct in that it's a pivot from a bad decision. And it's incredibly silly to think WWE didn't know this would get massive heat anyway. I'm leaning more towards we're all marks, but that's a good thing since it means people are invested.@@scotthunt4206
