Nice video. Are you able to set a shortcut for speed ramping or changing speeds of a clip (25%, 50%, 400% etc.)? Also, can tourbox be used in colour or fairlight tab?

hi Josh, thanks for your video, it really helps a lot. Btw could u pls tell me what do u mean by those commands about Turbox like: Split at P head, in point/out point, ( and d 4 arrows ) up= cut before, down= cut after? please explain, thanks so much....Fred

a streamdeck or a razer tartarus would do the job just as good for a fraction of the cost

I have a Razer Nostromo for gaming, and I have thought to setting up keybinds to it for editing. On my Razer Hex, with the seven button side plate, I’ve already started adding simple things like J and L for speed playing; the tilt mouse wheel for single frame advance or reverse.

The cost is not that different. I've had a Tourbox Elite for less than a week, and it has sped up my workflow quite a bit. Because it has different style inputs it becomes a very tactile device; you know where your fingers are without looking away from the screen. Some actions use the scroll wheel, some use a knob, some use a dial, some use a side button, and some use top buttons, this variety helps prevent repetitive stress injuries. Also, unless I'm mistaken, Stream Deck are buttons only. I'm not hating on the Stream Deck, it's a great device, but the approach that Tourbox took was intentionally different than a keypad of square buttons. Granted the Tourbox might not be for everyone, and it may depend on your workflow. I find it to be a great device and I am pleased with my purchase.

Terrific review! Any thoughts about minimum hardware requirements that affect scrubbing, etc.? My rig is RTX 3060 (12 Gig) with I-5 K CPU and 64 Gig Ram. Davinci Resolve Studio 18 is primary software.
