In this video, I really go into detail about wheelies on the Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono RVE, call it a Wheelie Cheat Code, if you will. I compare my curb experiences on the RVE with the KLX. I think no matter what, you need to know the basics first and foremost. You really can’t cheat your way to learning wheelies fast. The way you did it was the right way for sure! 😊

Easing my way into it with the 698. The wheelbase is very different from the KLX so I’m practicing all over. Better to be safe than sorry.

Keep at it bro! You got the right idea. Practicing up hill is the easiest way to learn. I’m not great at this video stuff or tutorials but maybe I’ll give it a shot one day on the 698.

Thank you. I usually practice twice a week for about an hour. I’m still feeling out the Hyper’s wheelbase to get it to 12 but I’m in no rush. You should totally give it a try. It’s not as hard as most people think it is. I just recommend wearing full gear and be okay about potentially dropping the bike.

The real wheelie cheat code is when you install the Termignoni full exhaust and DWC 1 mode has wheelie assist.

I agree! You’d need the $2K system to help from looping the bike. I prefer the skillful way. You’re more in control and could wheelie anything anytime.

Does this assyst will give you possibility to keep throttle full and stay in balance for a long wheeling ?

@@popeye7833 My bike does not have that feature because I want to learn controlled wheelies by myself. In order to have the wheelie feature, you would have to buy the $2900 Termi exhaust with the upmap in order for Ducati to unlock that feature.
