The number of times I've played Winston and somebody swapped Reaper as a "counter" and then I never even saw them for the rest of the game is crazy, people don't realise Bastion is the real counter.

@@KikiCatMeow as a Bastion player who also plays Tank.. Bastion is anti-living against anyone who doesn't have some super good self-heal or really good defensive ability

@@northernstar39 The way you play against bastion is you just play around a cooldown wait a bit then jump them. Something like DVA/sigma nullifies the bastion but you can just run away and come back later

Mercies should support their teams, no doubt, but that Mercy was healbotting the Reaper. She could've boosted damage a little more.

A good example of how unthreatening the Reaper was. The fact that they swapped INTO Winston and didn't get punished for it

Reaper has nit the one and only playstile. It depends on the comp and the map. You could say that Reaper has two playstiles, frontliner as a tankbuster with an aggressive tank and flanker, but the borders are fluid. However, this reaper did nothing really well.

Reaper also wrecks tanks so him looking at the tank most of the time is good for his play style, the other dps should focus the support, i like that this whole situation could be changed if they picked pharah at least first and second point

@@MrHoldino Good, only way to start learning is to get punished more and more. So what if you suck at the start, if you're afraid from sucking you will never improve. I'd say learn a bit in qp like 3-5 matches then jump into ranked. So what if you lose in ranked you already bronze, it's better to focus on improving than not losing

@@bigfudge2031 Good then they'd be forced to improve, play an aim trainer like VAXTA for 10mins a day jump into a 3-5 QP matches then continue playing ranked. They will suck at the start, but if you are afraid of sucking you will never improve. The switch to Cassidy would be alot better in the long-term because they are much better than reaper in the higher ranks

Its scary that he PLACED in Gold. He should either learn to use Reaper more effectively or just try a different DPS. He was behind that Reinhardt like he was a soldier or something. The dude has mobility. Teleport in, and then you FADE out. Or teleport when you are about to be cornered. Not fade into them. It's like my friend, who is an obvious bronze player, would try to throw their teleport MID FIGHT. Like you're dead. What did you expect? I think bronze players tend to lack self-awareness, game sense, and the ability to use the hero kits that they choose. They have an idea about what it does, but they have no clue what to do with it. My suggestion to those players is to look up guides and tips about that character from higher level players. Doesn't even have to be Masters or GM any level at least 2 levels higher than you and see how they use their kits. Also, the best tip that has ever been given to me back in the day was "Your team is not ALWAYS the problem. Instead, look at what you could've done better and try to become a better player yourself. " This was back in OW1 days when comp points were based on individual performance, whether it be a win or a lose you and your teammates would receive or be deducted a different amount of points. I'm not too familiar with how it works on OW2, but if it is similar. Then, even with your wins or losses, it still falls on how YOU played. Also, one last tip to bronze or even Silver players, don't just main one character. Meta changes, and sometimes the enemy may have a hard counter to your pick. Wasting time being stuck on one hero that is hindering your time more than helping is just a waste.

@@sukirinaa Placing at the beginning of a season is super easy especially if you queue up with people and are rank hungry. Like, this dude is so obsessed with rank it wouldn't surprise me if he found a group of people from silver to plat and got carried in 7-8 games before an enormous loss strak

It's easier when you are just watching, my best advice is just to not think much of ranked. I was scared and played mostly qp but you have to take it less seriously and just focus on winning, it's fine if you get smoked a few times in the journey

ranked is ass. I dont play often but whenever i do its just leavers.

Honestly it was fairly easy to get to high silver.. I thought it was going to be WAYY harder since i see so much people having trouble climbing out of bronze but no not for me personally However higher ranks are probably harder so idrk how hard gold and other ranks are so just go for it and see how it is for you!! The best thing you can do is to not think to much about it and don't put to much pressure on yourself ^^ gl

High bronze is a stretch.. He's playing Reaper and is literally scared of fighting BRONZE squishies.. I'd say Bronze 4 at best but below Bronze 3 rng decides pretty much everything so it's a toss.

if you don't play the game much, then of course you get ranked in gold. that's where people get placed initially. if you played more, your rank would probably change.

@@sethescope Yes it's mostly people got placed, stop playing once they get placed and be like yep I am gold. People literally get placed in GM1 in this game after 5 wins and 4 losses, so placements are so inflated

Also cant win a 1v1 versus ashe a couple times including the last minute.... Its a sniper and ur 2 feet away. Its a free insta kill.

no. however, I have seen vods where I do think people deserve a higher rank, sometimes a significantly higher rank. it's just never the ones who claim they deserve better lol

They play like a bronze player and would need a lot of help to climb, it's way more than aim and ability usage. They don't play the game until the enemy tank is running into their team.

More than coaching they need someone else to play the game for them, they barely know what they’re doing let alone what anyone else in the game is doing.

They're supports. Reaper has multiple playstyles, you can play frontline shooting the tank, which is viable because he obviously does very well against tanks. Sometimes you don't want to dive supports every time because you'll get predictable

Well if ur reaper isn’t as good as ur widow and junk, then I probably wouldn’t brag about how good ur aim is on ur reaper, u gotta try to get ur sim up on reaper. Before u do that. Also advice for reaper is save ur ammo for players a little closer instead of chipping 3 or 4 pellets from 5 meters back unless that character is super super low. And Ik u wanna flank but if h flank in ur gonna need a way out when h get low so try to always have at least one cool down unless both cool downs will absolutely get u out of a bad situation to stay alive. Ur ults are pretty good but I’d say it’s better to get one person than to try to use it and get a big play so u don’t accidentally hit No one because of how predictable reapers ults are

Reaper is not a sniper (You deal more dmg sniping as dva), stop mashing jump every second, take .5s to aim and hit shots instead of flailing around, PRESSURE the supports you're a reaper and they have kiriko mercy (You dive onto them they are forced to relocate to a teammate and further into the fight), stop teleporting 2 feet, if nobody is shooting you and your supports are healing you don't waste wraith (Why are you using wraith with 500 hp and beat???)

Guy could literally just go Cassidy and get 3x the value without changing his playstyle at all.. idk why he's stuck playing Reaper when he refuses to do anything except shoot from 30m distance or be literally on their face jumping around like Lucio.

Torb and mei were my main stay picks when I just started, then I found out about vaxta and practiced my aim till I started feeling comfortable with aim-intensive heroes. For example I tried sojourn in S1 and damn was I hot trash and then I tried mei and it was a world of difference. Now my sojourn is really fun and rewarding. Try out "Vaxta" challenge mode yourself for 10mins a day and I think you will improve alot
