Tom Hiddleston guesses lines from some of his most famous projects such as 'The Avengers', 'Crimson Peak', 'Midnight In Paris' and 'Loki'. bit.ly/VarietySubscribe / variety / variety / variety
Brother from another mother as Tom would say about his relationship with Chris Hemsworth 😊 I’m incline to believe him. They do act like that, whenever they are together.
crimson peak is sooooo underrated. i blame the marketing; it should never have been sold as a horror film, which resulted in disappointed audiences. it should have been sold as what it was: a gothic romance movie / ghost story
Tom as Loki is one of the few perfect cast in Holywood's adaptation of printed media. He is Loki the same way that Hugh is Logan, RDJ is Tony Stark, Sir Patrick Stewart & Sir Ian McKellen as Professor X & Magneto (the latter as Gandalf as well), Liv Tyler as Arwen, and Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly
“Change is possible, growth is necessary. In order to become the best version of yourself you have to make peace with your past. You have to confront your mistakes, acknowledge your failures; and only then are you in control of your destiny.” Good God, somebody store this in the catacombs of History so that both this current, and future generations might not soon forget it.
I was hoping that they were going to include a line from The Night Manager; I think it’s the best thing he’s done so far. I loved it and it’s without a doubt one of my favorite mini-series along with Chernobyl. His performance in it demonstrates his ability to be a leading man and an ideal choice to play James Bond.
It was such a big series too, I am surprised it's not even mentioned. And I'd have loved some behind-the-scenes trivia about the set and working with Hugh Laurie. The focus on Loki was nice but a big too much at the end
What's not to love about Mr Hiddleston? He is a master-class actor, a sophisticated gentleman, and he has great talent and insight. Protect him at all costs!
@@stevechiang6744 Well hear *THIS!* He is more like Loki than we realise: It’s true. He was bullied at school, a loner who read books and has been hurt quite a bit over the years from some of the things I’ve heard him say including his parents divorcing which traumatised him (he begun acting as a way to let out the anger and sadness in a healthy way) and legitimately seems to view Chris Hemsworth as a brother and definitely has a cheeky, mischievous side but I’ve seen sadness in him also at times. He is quite a lot like Loki except for the ‘evil part.’ 😊💚 *His dedication to Loki:* - He read the comics as he was growing up and played with ‘Marvel cards.’ - He watched the movies since the beginning and enjoyed them. He thoroughly memorises them. - He held multi-day (4 day) long ‘Loki’ & ‘Marvel’ lectures for the entire cast and crew even going to Owen’s house several days in a row (even at night) to help him prepare for his role as ‘Mobius.’ - He learnt Norwegian and sang in it as well as learnt Latin and studied Norse lore to prepare for his role in the first Thor movie. - He asked the composer, Natalie Holt to put certain music tracks into particular scenes - He handed out poetry to the cast and crew in order to ‘inspire their imaginations.’ - He ordered in taco trucks for the cast and crew of ‘Loki.’ - He danced around on set and did karaoke. - He was made ‘special executive producer’ since he has such passion and knowledge of Marvel!
I've only known Tom for his role as Loki, but I said, I'll bet he's great in any role he plays. Tom is the type of guy that would be cool to hang out with. He's really laid back and friendly.
I love how he seems to really get to know each and every one of his characters on such a deep level, as if they're real people that he's been friends with for years. He just has a way of bringing them to life.
He’s incredibly passionate in just about everything he does. He loves life and says that he likes to see the best in everything. He’s *VERY* hard not to like once you get to ‘know’ him (via interviews ofc. None of us know him personally but he seems real and good.)
Good heavens. Absolutely adore him. I’ve met him and he is breathtakingly handsome and very, very kind. I look forward to seeing him in new projects. It’s about time.
I could listen to his voice for days. He was the first actor of who I decided to watch every movie he was in. Great movies, great actor. One could say I am a follower of his art.
I just love and respect and admire Tom Hiddleston so much. What an amazing and talented actor he is. The work he has done with Loki, the growth and wisdom he infused his character. Kenneth Branagh made Loki and Thor like a Shakespeare play, it's a privilege to have watched him during these 15 years. But beyond that, Tom's work in Coriolanus, War Horse, Crimson Peak, The Night Manager, The Deep Blue Sea, Hollow Crown, they're masterpieces. He and Benedict Cumberbatch are the best actors of the Marvel universe and two of the best British actors of our generation.
The show Loki brings so much into lokis character that we wish we could have seen in the movies and I’m so glad at how lokis character was portrayed and played in the show 10/10 definitely recommended people to watch it
I actually didn’t like the show much at *ALL* yet I love the character of Loki as well as Marvel and Tom. I was hoping it would have been more ‘Norse’ and less ‘Kang and TVA.’
the way he described the difference between theatre and film acting was so cool, i’ve only ever seen people talk about how the live aspect calls for more pressure on stage
"Change is possible, growth is necessary and in order to become the best version of yourself you have to make peace with your past." 👍💚 What a smart man.
I’m personally looking forwards his ‘Life of Chuck’ and ‘Tenzing’ movies. They sound pretty interesting and different but a Loki & Thor / Tom & Chris reunion will melt my heart! 💗
Tom Hiddleston is so brilliant and yet in such an approachable manner. The fact that he not only recalls every phrase thrown at him but where precisely in the movie/play/work, who was in it with him, how the work affected him as an actor, where the different works took place, says so much about how he himself approaches every work in which he takes part. I love listening to him talk about basically anything; he could read the dictionary to me and I would be fascinated. He’s just that great! I ADORE him!!
This video made my day. It's so nice to hear Tom talk so sweetly about Chris. I really want to see them together again, not necessarily like Thor and Loki. They could also insert quotes from The Serpent in Essex where he played a priest, for some reason everyone forgets about this. And I love that Tom is a perfectionist to the core and loves Shakespeare so much. Sometimes it seems to me that Tom was experiencing some kind of personal trauma and it was in the character of Loki that he was able to embody and work through it
It’s true. @@VoVina111Many people thought so due to some of the comments about Loki being ‘dead to him as friend’ and saying things like the ‘box office numbers might be better if Loki was in the movie’ and that ‘Thor would bring Loki back if he could but he himself wasn’t so sure because he was like the ‘annoying girlfriend who wouldn’t go away.’ He apparently ‘texts Tom on the side’ and Tom said that they’ve communicated via email (electronic letter) And Chris mentioned watching an episode of ‘Loki’ despite not having the time to watch anything. I was afraid myself that he had ‘abandoned Tom’ as they confidently seemed to avoid each other during the Infinity War press, latest Met Gala, Cannes and the Hollywood Star thing. Chris has never congratulated Tom on anything so I *REALLY* hope it’s not just a ‘one-sided’ friendship. I don’t see them ‘falling out’ either. They’ve just had their career and life paths diverted for a bit is all I’m thinking any I look forward to their eventual (hopeful) reunion for Thor 5, the next Avengers or when Tom heads to Australia to film ‘Tenzing.’ 😊🤞 They’re friendship is *SO* good I hope it is still strong! It is definitely is on Tom’s end. He *ADORES* Chris to the moon and hope that Chris still has a soft spot although it had been suspected that he had grown jealous but we won’t know until we see them together again which I feel is well overdue!
6:30 it is an absolute heartbreak 💔😢 It is so cruel of russo brothers to kill loki to put fear of thanos in our hearts... u could have just asked us to fear thanos and we would have.. there was no need of killing loki... i am still mad about it 🙁 Also I noticed that Mr. Tom Hiddleston talks with most passion about loki and theatre...❤❤
@@ZyliceLiddell I think your thinking too much on it. It's just one eye and it looks like an allergic conjunctivitis. Not the contagious pink eye type but the kind from hay fever. You can see the actual membrane is swollen. I get the same thing and it's quite uncomfortable. Feels like gelatin on your eye ball and an itchy, dry burn you just wanna rub at constantly!
@@ZyliceLiddellhe did a number of interviews recently where he mentioned he was under the weather. You can tell by his voice, as well - one he did for BBC radio you can REALLY tell. He also has a very young child at home and travels a lot so I'm sure he's tired.
Oh he ages, he just ages like whiskey, just gets better. You can see it in the eyes and expressions, 15 years since Avengers, doesn't seem that long. I also thought he was younger, but he's only 3 years younger than I am.
He was magic as Hank Williams! And he just simmers as the night manager. Love him. I gave birth to his doppelganger in 1980. Every one calls my son, Everett, Loki.
Tom is the best, i still hope a Thor Loki reunion and this man deserves a star on the hollywood walk of fame and on a few years he should be Sir, can't wait for life of Chuck and the 2nd season of the night manager ❤
