Risacher was playing without a PG in summer league. He's going to look a lot better catching passes from Trae Young

Nice analysis, I will say a number 1 pick not starting game 1 is not news. Anthony Edwards for example came off the bench for the first 20 games of his rookie year. Sometimes you have to bring guys along when you think they're ready, wouldn't be surprised to see ZR crack the starting 5 in a similar time frame. Also I do not see the Hawks starting Bogi, the roster is more balanced with Bogi off the bench but closing games for the Hawks. I'd think they're more likely to go with Daniels as the starter at the 2 with Hunter or slotting Daniels at the 3 with ZR at the 2.

Nice mention on AE and I agree. Not what you expect for a number 1, but he's in a good developmental situation. ZR is lethal at catch n shoot, has good defensive tools, and a nice feel for the game (off closeouts and passing). I can see ZR getting some starts with his current skill set IF the rookie defense comes along (JJ, ZR, DD would be a nice starting group). DD should start at the 2. He's a good secondary playmaker with Elite defense for opposing teams best scorers. The 2 should be great for him next to Trae and an improved JJ. Bogi is holding down the 2nd unit offense, they forgot about is ready for a role. That leaves Hunter / Vit off bench which is some nice wing depth. With health and Trae young, this team is late playoff or playin bound. Could over achieve if they're not matchup up with Celtics 1st round. This is a more balanced roster on this team than previous years.
