When I got my Haldane Orkney, I switched my Ashford Traddy to plying only. Worsted spinning on the Traditional was like slow motion. The Traddy was made it 1974 and still solid as a rock. I hope the Elizabeth holds up as well.
How interesting that you ply and spin on separate wheels. Some of my wheels, especially the older ones, do like to go one direction better than the other. I might have to try that! Thanks for sharing about your wheels! I hope mine hold up as well as yours have.
I'm glad you found it helpful! Since making this video, one of my friends who is relatively new to spinning has been trying it out, and it's her favorite of my wheels that she's tried. I think it's great for people who want a more meditative process with their spinning because it really does force you to slow down. I know that's a big part of why I spin. Thanks for your comment and happy spinning!
Thanks for the informational video. I have the Elizabeth 24" wheel, and I am thinking about getting the 30" also, but I would like to see a picture of them side by side for comparison. Are you able to do this?
