Haven't seen the video yet. But knowing his methods... probably would use it too. My mind just went "cross contamination" with the first picture of the rug being rolled out. So...but I am struggling with rugs anyways and I am allergic to dust. So I hardly ever use rugs😅
@slbarbieri1725
@slbarbieri1725 6 месяцев назад
@lisastenzel5713 my daughter and I are allergic to dust too, but our home has wall to wall. We don't have hardwood underneath and here in Pennsylvania it really does help with the heating bills, having carpet. We vacuum twice a week, steam clean our rugs once a month and take allergy meds every day. It's a compromise we are willing to live with

i honestly don't understand why i enjoy this so much. it's not just the element of satisfaction from going dirty --> clean, it's like the whole sensory experience of it. the sounds, the way i can imagine it feels the scrape the dirt off the rug, the smell of fresh carpet. it feels like what i imagine catnip feels like to a cat, it has me SO captivated
@grammienoob2997
@grammienoob2997 6 месяцев назад
Agree there has to be something to it with the sensory experience, very relaxing. Funny you should mention catnip. My cats thoroughly enjoyed watching this video 😂. Obviously they aren’t interested in the before/after but the sounds and motions keep them engaged. One cat loves to play with broom when we sweep, he came running when he heard the broom scrubbing sound… think he was disappointed not to be able to catch it 😂😂😂

I love the little camera splash, love mistakes and times when you're just being human and making the most of it. Not quite sure about the close camera in this one, maybe a little too close, but I love the textures you got despite them. Well done on keeping it engaging for us and also still keeping us informed. I love that you tells us about the products every once in a while, cause otherwise we might get bored seeing that all the time and miss the new stuff. Though I would love to see the written narration more often when you use new items. Though I can see why you don't do it on every video. Again, well done!

Another rug restored to beyond "Like New" condition! I've often commented on how that no matter how nasty a rug is when it comes into your workshop, they always leave cleaner than they were when they were originally bought. One things I am not clear in any video of any cleaner is why you start pouring cleaner from "bottom" of the carpet? Example 18:46. Wouldn't it be better if you start from top and then cleaner is slowly going down thru whole carpet? It looks like most of liquid you pour goes immediately down the drain.

Whether or not I'd use it after you clean it depends totally on how well you clean it. I don't know what other processes you're going to use, but if they don't contain a disinfectant ability, I probably would not have it in my house. And if the rinse water you use doesn't make the last water out clear, I wouldn't use it again. I like how you put comments up to describe what you were doing all along. VERY GOOD JOB!!!
