He raised those 4 kittens, I wish you can reunite them with the dog again, like frequent visits, or even once in a while visits, they are family to him he misses them. I am happy that you bring him other foster kittens to foster it really refreshes his spirt and make him happy again, as he is a nurturer at his core. He is a blessing he is a nurturer and cares for others, all kittens are blessed to have such good dad dog like this angel blessed dog.

I lost my wee dog to old age at 15 yo last year, he looked exactly like your wee dog. It fills my heart with joy to see other folks have such loving relationship as I myself was blessed with. Treasure every moment with your furry companions, we humans are so fortunate to have them in our lives. 🙏

I know as a stranger I have no right to tell you, " you need to get him a forever kitty". I don't know your circumstance or financial burdens. But if you are able- and willing- I think a forever kitty would make this dog's life forever grand. 🥰❤

It's not _"mopey,"_ it's grief. When you've loved someone, especially young ones, and formed a bond it hurts like hell when they're taken away and you know you're never gunna see them again. The dog hasn't gotten over it just cos there are new cats to love, he's just a good boy with a lot of love in his heart

What a good boy, he even seemed to instinctively know to lick the babies' rumps to stimulate their potty reflex. Young kittens have to be simulated to relieve themselves by their mothers licking them.

Just amazing, it doesn’t matter who loves them as long as they are loved.

He actually helped keep them alive . New kittens have to be stimulated to urinate and defecate and their mother does that by licking them.. this sweet dog has strong paternal instincts to nurture and hes super gentle. His behavior speaks volumes for the way he was raised. Great owners.❤
