Cody is such a good boy and you do a great job teaching. So much better than some others I’ve watched. One of them actually said to not trim as much as the owner asks so they come back sooner for a trim. I stopped watching after that. I like that you explain how you’re holding onto the dog and how to reach those hard to reach places.
This is the best 'grooming for beginners' I have watched, you show the whole thing slowly. I have actually had the confidence to start grooming my Bassett/Poodle. I haven't finished her completely but, have done her main coat, it's not perfect but, not bad, thanks to you! It will save me £30 a time doing it myself. A big thank you!!!! Brilliant! Sorry we don't know your name.
I love your video and the way you care for the pup. Even though the dog is a good boy you take your time and very gentle with the pup with a relaxed voice and persona. Thank you for your videos and for being so gentle and caring!!
Im not a dog groomer, I wish I could become one but I dont think could be possible for me. But I work with dogs at a dogdaycare place and I sometimes I bath them and make them ready for the groomer at our place. I enjoy see how they groom the dogs and this video helped me to understand a lot of things and enjoy it more, than you!
Thanks for your video, I really enjoyed listening to you. You explain it in detail, nice to see it for once. I have picked up many tips from you. I shall always watch your videos. Thank you.
I know! 😢 I felt bad looking at his poor lip being pulled down so far for such a long time. She did great outside of that. But that was hard to look at
Hi can you suggest a good clipper or sheering tool. I used my hair clipper but its not working in my medium size cockapoo. Are you using the one that they use in sheering sheeps? I appreciate your reply. Thank you.
I don't understand short haircuts or shaving for the summer. The dog's coat is meant to insulate from hot and cold. They cool off by their mouth, not their skin.
They do indeed, Joan. But imagine running your car in summer with a piece of card in front of the radiator. The cooling fan would be working all the time to keep the engine cool. In canine terms, by thinning the insulating layer of fur in hot weather, you allowing the dogs internal systems to run normally instead of a highly stressed state attempting to keep the blood cool. Older animals can often over exert their organs attempting to maintain their core temperature at a reasonable level. I hope this explains a little.
Great guidelines thanks so much for sharing your experiences with us.I also love how you show the angle of the grooming shears & blades to use.Bless you.
I must say how ecstatic I feel right now to finally find a black woman groomer! I RARELY see that and I really have been wondering why??? I’m now in the grooming field, just completely my online pet grooming certification program and I am waiting for my certificate to come in the mail within a few weeks! Been a dog bather for a year and I have started actually grooming and working on my skills. I have a LONG way to go before I have full confidence in my work but I’m so excited! I know who I am going to be watching from now on!! #GreetingsFromBuffaloNY
What is a Decent Set Of Cordless Clippers to use on my Wheaton Terrier. He had Surgery and I have no choice but to trim him myself. The Groomer we have used for several Years cannot assure he won’t Re-injure himself...😯
Very easy to follow your intructions, you are very informative and you dont rush the work, you talk slower too and show exactly what to do step by step. I feel so calm watching you work. 100% better than other groomers online. Thank you xxxxx
