Great video. Very Helpful. I love, love, love your caution and care for not cutting the dog, and your patience with him when he got a little fidgety. And yes, speaking to him by name. I'll be back to absorb some more of your knowledge
She is the only groomer I can remember that cuts off the coat if a matted dog they've already shaved. Most groomers I've seen groomers keeping the matted coat in on piece showing the camera. Why? Thank you for cutting off the coat you already shaved.
Wondering why you don’t wash the dog first. I’ve seen other videos where they tell you that using the blade on dirty hair/fur dulls the blades much faster than with clean hair.
Trying claw caps for the first time with my cat since she was a baby. She's five now, and is just now getting used to nail trims. Prior to watching this video, I was trying to start the claw cap process but the glue bottle was confusing me, and not knowing I was supposed to trim the top, I unscrewed the bottom and got glue all over my fingers, which bonded immediately :( So please wear gloves, do not make my stupid mistake!!
Why are people tripping so hard on this dog being shaved? I bet it feels really good to the dog if its not a cold climate. Do NOT shave them in a cold climate unless you really need to for health reasons. DO shave them when possible in a hot climate that gets near and over 100 degrees Fahrenheit. It is good for cleaning the skin and the entire dog also. Its probably healthier to shave them once in a while. The hair grows again soon. Also, dog with no hair is going to get rid of any flea problems for a bit probably. Again, the hair will grow back lol.
This dog looks exactly like mine and I have a lot of trouble finding a good scissor, what is the one you are using? the ones I bought so far are good for one time use and then they don't cut well anymore
