Strangely enough, apparently she killed six children just so that she could feed them to her dogs. Rumor has it that she didn’t even kill the last two but rather directly fed them to her dogs alive.

that doesn't tug at peoples' hearts as much because goats are not as common pets as dogs, but you're right it's the more disturbing part of the story because she thought about it, and let it suffer. She killed those things for no reason other than being what they are. And that's who she is.
