Definitely agree on preferring the simplicity of Cat Lady. Also the Cat Lady Kittens micro-expansion includes Laddie (the dog at 6:05) as a playable stray 'cat'. I think the existence of this game is completely fine and well intentioned unlike what some other commenters are pointing out.

Josh Wood also did all the art for Cat Lady. AEG have got a different artist to straight up, let's say, "pay tribute to" his art style

It’s Cat Lady but with dogs.. but some other guy gets credit for making it? In any other industry i would expect a lawsuit.

@Gankatron 5000 still if i was Josh Wood, I'd be royally annoyed with AEG, especially if this starts affecting Cat Lady sales, royalties and future reprints.

Gamelyn Games have been blatantly ripping off other games for years, so before going after this one game we might do well to look elsewhere in the industry.

Bitterly downvote, unsubscribe, revoke Patreon, and throw Tom Vasel out of Florida! Blasphamy! Dogs better than cats?! Less cruel and dishonest words have sent people to the seventh level of hell... Tom, apologize to the makers! /s This game looks interesting as a filler. I like the ideas, but it kind of reminds me of the Pusheen Cat game, too.
