The poor dog obviously was experiencing what might have been a minor stroke when she passed out, then couldn't orient herself or get her footing when she came to. Not good signs. I had a similar reaction from mine. I left for six months to study abroad, my family said that my dog was deeply depressed the whole time, looking out the window and sleeping almost all day. BUT when I finally arrived home she looked at me from the hall and suddenly stopped like she did not believed it and then turned around and ignored me for hours as if she was resentful...and its funny but that night she slept inside my suitcase!! without me noticing it...the next morning she gave me her usual welcoming jumps of joy and air kisses like always... now everytime I go out the door even if it´s for 5 minutes she welcomes me with extreme joyful jumps :D
