The beauty of these dogs is they are protective by nature and don’t need to be highly trained to be vicious, they definitely can be but only need to be trained as to their place in the pack as the protector and companion and nature will do the rest. I got my first Belgium malinios in 1985 as a rescue dog, I literally found him in a busy parking lot not far from a military base he was obviously in distress so I spoke with the store owner and agreed to take him home until the owner could be found long story but I was absolutely amazed at the intelligence and loyalty of this dog and have had a few others over the years
that dog doesn't care 1 bit about that person it wants the sleeve nothing more this is not how you test a dog to do Civil bites she is Trash. Sleeves beware!!!
@chrisroper2731 only if those neighbors are breaking into the house and trying to harm the family. Belgian Malinoise are fiercely loyal to their families and/or handlers-partners, if they're K9s or soldiers. They don't go around biting people for spits and giggles. 🙄🤦♀️
As a Package Delivery driver, you gotta love owners that put their German Shepherds through attack training exercises, then leave the front door cracked open or leave them free to roam.
Right lol. I just left a message about if it's grandma or a child for a birthday party opening the door lol...Not always a good idea to teach the dog to attack from just a knock on the door....Never knew of someone robbing or invading a house to knock on a door all loud...pretty tone deaf rich people in the video tbh.
@@MeMyself571 People seem to always forget about that sorta thing until the their dog completely tears someone up! Most of the time a good Lawyer gets their attention!
As a residential security officer I appreciate people keeping their dogs under control. I encounter three kinds of dogs; friendly and outgoing, cautious and standoffish, and aggressively protective.
Well staged event, but good to see what would happen in a real event. I had a Jack Russel that would jump off the couch to gain Hight and go for the intruders throat. My young brother soon learnt not to come home late drunk.
this dog isnt protecting it is after the equipment only notice how when the sleeve is slipped the dog keeps playing with it a REAL protection dog with drop the sleeve and go back after the person get educated
I love how right in the very beginning before any of us can hear a sound, the dog turns his head and his ears shoot up. He knew someone was there before someone planned on being heard 😂
It's basically the same when there's gonna be an earthquake, they definitely know and alert us. BTW all animal's know before an earthquake hits ... luckily! 😅
So true! Yesterday, my brand newly adopted 8 year old mini pibble alerted me that my groceries were here before the guy was up the 1st set of stairs!! We live on the 3rd floor. They're amazing! The only other time he barks is if the young dog next door barks first.
He already sensed someone was there and jumped into action with zero hesitation when given the command. That’s an exercise all protection dogs should do.
Perfect reaction from a very protective dog. My girl was just like this. We traveled in an RV for 2 years, No one ever messed with our RV or me ..☢️⚡☢️⚡☢️⚡☢️
Had a Rottweiler that would put her head out the window the second we got on the ramp. No crackhead ever got anywhere near my car. She never made all this noise. Rotties don't have to. They just stare at you.
Attacker is lucky to have the awareness to bring an arm protector. Still got stopped, but now the owner can't be sued for their dogs vicious attack! How thoughtful.
Awe bless. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend. I was recently diagnosed with cancer and it’s been tough. My narcissistic daughter has told me that (despite me only telling 3 family members as of now, but someone shared the info with her before I could) she does not believe that I have cancer. I don’t feel that someone who would choose to be that way and further bring hurt to a devastating situation is worthy of taking the time to literally prove it to her via paperwork. I would have never expected a child I carried, birthed, delivered, and nurtured to do something like that and it has made me feel so very alone in this fight. If I end up in a terminal situation with this or anything complicating it during treatment, it would be a huge comfort to know that a medicated planned death was an option should I wish it. I’m not afraid to go- my dad and grandparents and many others I love and grieve are there and to see them again would be a beautiful thing when it is my time. Praying for your friend and her family.
Please have your Dr run a test for bacteria H. pylori. It is a leading cause of cancer due to undercooked meats nowadays. There are other ways to get cancer, but at least have your Dr rule it out. Take care. ❤❤❤
Most of the time shepherds are aloof with strangers, they bond with their family and can sense people's energy. Our shepherd didn't seem to like men in suits , but would run up to homeless strangers on a park bench and cover them in kisses❤❤❤
My Shepard too he was awesome ...cops wouldn't even pull in yard unless oked by me . ( they weren't there for anything serious anyway) He passed in his sleep in 2018 he was 6 days away from 15 yrs old. Now I have a bulldog/pit bull he lov e s EVERYONE LOL total opposite of my d dog lol
The dog in the video is actually a malinois not a shepherd, both have that protective instinct and can be trained to do this but there are quite a few differences between said breeds
You gonna enjoy them, I'm 55 and live alone with my 70 pd dobbie she means the world to me and she's my shadow every where I go I hate too leave her cuz she's cry until I get back.
I wouldn't get a Malinois at your age,but you can get a dog like this just be prepared to spend a lot of money. A good dog with the right breeding and training is very expensive.
Unless you have a lot of prior experience with handling guard dogs, please do not get one now. The requirements for training and exercise are serious and very extreme. Please, please consider getting a different breed that is equally protective but easier to handle and keep for someone who has absolutely no experience.
😢. They have to train a dog to be violent? When these people tresspass into the orca aka "killer whale" sss house, they, the people, should xpect the same, and FYI...people also taught the WILD ANIMALS TO DEFEND THEIR HOME. Think Think Think. Most of them die😢😢😢
I love Malinoise. Perfect breed for family and working like K9 or military. (The 'e' is for plural so the 's' is pronounced 😉👍). This gorgeous fur missile is getting wonderful training!❤🐾🐾 ETA: I explained the 'e' because I'm trying to remember it right, not that I think you're stupid. 😉💖🫂
My GSD was trained as a protection dog and did 'suit work' as shown here with the guy dressed in special gear. My neighbours didn't tell me that they were having some fencing redone in the corner of our properties, they paid for it, and when I got home from work I said to the fencing guy "How was the dog? Didn't anything happen?" He looked at me funny. "What dog?" He said. I whistled and he saw my 95lb working like GSD come over and just stare at him, waiting for me to say her 'attack' prompt.
Mal's are a stunning breed... amazing athletes. I have a Mal mix. We think he's part Lab. We have an amazing bond. He's not certified, but he's my Service Dog. He's rarely more than 6 feet from me, unless we're walking or playing... or he's poopin. 🙃 I'm fortunate to have a good friend who's an outstanding trainer... he trains Mal's for K9 units, the military etc... he taught me the basics and I did the training. My dog is the perfect speed for me. I couldn't do right by a fullbreed, they live to work, work, work, work, work and need alot of exercise and stimulation.
notice the trash dog doesnt reengage the shitty decoy after the sleeve comes off because her dog isnt a real protection dog its equipment fixated she is trash
I once had a pizza guy ask to pet my dogs. I have 2 adult German shepherds. I literally told the guy no. Straight up no. I went onto our screened porch and my dogs were sitting at the screen door. Separated from the guy. He says “aw, all dogs love me” and grabbed the door handle and had the door open before I could react. All u could hear was the low growls of both of my dogs lol. As I got the door slammed shut, my female lunged at the guy through the screen and broke the door. She watched me thank god….and sat calmly once he backed the hell up a bit but they never stopped growling. Looking back on it, it seemed innocent enough but I still wonder if maybe he had nefarious intent. My dogs aren’t usually snappy like that unless I ask them to be.
I didn't realise that dogs can very well distinguish between good and bad intentions of people before having my dog. I don't know how, but he is acting like a repellant to bad people
I am so glad that dog reacted like that that means it’s a good watchdog and you could leave anything with him and it be safe love it❤❤❤❤❤ loves the dog❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I’ve had three LGD’s (Great Pyrenees.) Two have passed away and I currently have a Great Pyrenees Akbash mix. They are extremely protective, but one difference is if they perceive a threat I wouldn’t be able to call them off. They were bred to be independent and they are extremely good at knowing true threats from a Girl Scout selling cookies. They are the sweetest dogs until you threaten their family. They won’t bother company but they are naturally suspicious of strangers. I’ve always felt safe with my guardian dogs by my side. It has always amazed me how loving and friendly they are to children and small animals.
Not as usual, but cats do too. Mine saved me. I was being beaten and my cat went with all her claws into the man's back and held on. He ran out my front door.
Our Cane Corso had training like this twice a week. 4 children in the house & each have their own word for protection. My neighbor has a Rottie & a month ago it went thru a window for an intruder. AKA , home invasion. Surgery was rendered. Shes ok & still up for protecting her family. ❤️🙏🏼❤️
I'm pretty sure the person with the arm pad on is a woman... she's dressed as a man and probably identifies as one but I'm pretty sure I see boobs... and what man screams like that? 😂😂😂
But in future, please train your. Daughter too … she is old enough to comprehend that it is supposed to be a serious break-in or danger to her, but stands there like a silly little girl who enjoys being in the movies. Sorry for being so frank but in real life things are a little different than most young people are aware of.
Amazing dogs 🐕 ,they are wonderful but need proper training by a careful, confident handler. Dogs need to be bred well, you don't want inbreeding = unstable temperament, or breeding for aggression. Good guard dogs need to have a natural instinct of when to attack and how much force to use. They read 📚 a situation, plus if the owner is highly strung and sees everything as a threat, the dog is more likely to attack. Eg when my mother walked our shepherd he was way more vigilant and would snap at at little yip-yaps that would snap at him. (Those were the days when dogs wondered the streets in Australia) When I walked him (off the leash) , l was secretly hoping that he would teach them a lesson, but he just turned around & gave me a pained expression. I trusted him absolutely . If a bigger dog ever went for him, he'd have it on it's back in 5 seconds, holding it down till it conceded defeat. He knew how much force was needed ❤
@@jawant6039 you ever see what actual police K-9 for a protection dog does the somebody if you're not scared of the dogs you're just plain ignorant I work with the Damned things everyday and I'm not really scared of them I'm just afraid of what they can do
@BomBoo-rn8gj no it's not. The dig knows it's practice time. Go visit a police academy and watch how they train those dogs or even contact your police depths K9 unit.
Malinois ARE just that protective & FAST, I live alone & she was too protective (NOT aggressive), dog came near me out of the blue quickly & triggered her to protect. I'm in apt. complex & Neighbors freaked. very obedient, she's back @ her original home, I've visited but still Miss her 🥰 🐾
@@patrickharris4829 Malinois was overly protective because I lived alone then, NOT AGGRESSIVE, VERY obedient. my other dogs 120 lb. Shepherd Rott mix, 65 Aus. Dingo (import) 75 lb. Long hair Plott hound 75 lb. Red Wolf, Shepherd, Akita, Chow mix & lb. for lb. Malinois was most muscular (Dingo's bite most powerful). Helped raise, breed 75 purebred German shepherds, no problems with obedience of any, biggest was 135 lb. male.
@@theohioshirey well l presently have 9 dogs and l live alone and on a 1,000 acre ranch, so my dogs very, very rarely see anybody else, yet l have complete control over every single one. Breed and size very rarely has to do with aggressive behavior. Usually smaller dogs are more aggressive naturally. Control has to do with training and being the alpha of the pack.
@@patrickharris4829 yes I agree. You and your pups are so blessed to have land to roam freely on. When I train, I'm clear, firm, consistent and praise generously with lots of affection. My furry family was very loving, loyal and obedient, grateful for each one. 🙏🕊️🐾🎄
Taking care of business!!! I think your dog heard the burglar's plan before he even got done finalizing it, you can tell because how fast the dog sprung into action.
I have a Throwback 30+ lb Pomeranian and taught him to be a guard dog. He's not fully like a GSD breed but does great at chasing off coyotes which that is what his breed of the Spitz breed does. I still catch him guarding me from my husband whenever my husband does a mock kick or hit from behind me, my dog uses his body as a shield. He did go after one guy who was lost after pulling up our driveway when I was outside with the dogs and getting mad at me and yelling at me because I didn't know where the mechanic shop was he was looking for. Guy opened his truck door and I let my dog loose who made a B-Line for that man barking and snarling. He came back in command when I told him too. My MIL was home alone with my dog and called up because my dog scared her when he jumped off the couch and crawled along the floor in a low growl at the door. She called us ASAP and we told her to turn on all the lights and make sure all the windows and doors were locked. A few nights ago I heard the front door shutting which was odd to hear at that hour. Before I could even react my dog was already in stealth mode and was running in a crouch and being quiet as he ran to the front door to see why it shut. Thing is, my dog makes noise and barks, but he was purposely being quiet to sneak. Even surprised me because I never taught him to crouch like that. When he realized it was my FIL who came through the door he came back to me wagging his tail. Floors everyone that my dog acts like that because he's small and not a guard breed. I grew up with trained Rottweilers that were the family guard dogs. So the next I got my own dog after getting married was a Throwback Pomeranian because the family I married into likes Pomeranians. They didn't know Pomeranians could be 30+ lbs.
@SLAYYYYQUEEN💅 if it was real this family would be in trouble because this dog doesnt care about the person it wants the sleeve only this is not a REAL protection dog this lady is BS
@@dedlock658this is a train ing video. I CAN ASSURE YOU. they are trained to bite the sleeve to protect the DECOY! Decoys end up with huge bruises and bite marks even WITH the sleeve. This woman has 3 Belgian Malinios ALL VERY WELL TRAINED. If this had been real as in no sleeve 1st. The owner would not be standing there watching she would have had a red dot on you and your arm would have likely been threaded. The dogs TAKE THE SLEEVE as a reward. YOU ARE THE ONE THAT IS FULL OF BS!
I believe everyone should have a dog or two or three because yes I believe they are a great gift from God and he let's them know good from evil but you have to love and train them ❤
And how convenient that the ’burglar’ is wearing arm protection! On the correct arm accidentally. 🤪 And what about mom’s idiot reaction: NONE WHATSOEVER? I’d be right beside the dog with whatever tool I could grab!😈 I once killed a HUGE spider to protect my son. So they better watch out!!!!!!!👹👹👹👹👹👹 Over all: mediocre acting.... I’ve seen trainers do much better acting at the dog school...
This gave me all the feels...1. Damn that’s the coolest fn’ sh*t ever, chills. 2. Then the girly girl, shedding a tear, because that baby just protected his family! 🤣🤣
@Lanky Lyon Yeah he will. The dog knows the trainer well and is bonded with him. The dog is smart enough to know this training. When he sees the sleeve, he knows it's training time and will only attack the sleeve as he doesn't want to hurt his trainer/friend. Ironically, if they keep letting the dog tear the sleeve off during training, they are unwittingly training the dog to actively rip someone's arm off...
