As a first time Malinois owner, I found few online resources that provided the optimism and encouragement I was seeking as I embarked on this journey with my new puppy. The online communities I found seemed to be dominated by owners who held strong convictions about just who should (and who shouldn’t) own a Belgian Malinois. Very few were welcoming or helpful when I sought opinions or advice. Instead, I was more often met with harsh judgment and criticism. The idea that these dogs should only be reserved for highly experienced or professional handlers is simply untrue. With a solid commitment and the right training, even YOU can own a Malinois successfully. My goal is to provide some insight into what it’s like to own a Belgian Malinois for the first time. What I offer you is the unvarnished truth of my experience so that you may overcome your hesitation in owning what I have come to believe is the BEST dog breed in the world.
I was teaching my dog to spin backward out of heel and she kept barking like crazy and not spinning , so I thought she didn't understand the command until I watched myself on video and realized I was moving my hand the same way as my barking command lol I had to rebuild a bunch of my commands.
Great video! Have been thinking about switching over from the slip, and this is the push I needed. Totally wasn’t expecting to see MaligatorDad on the leash 😂 I wonder if prong collars work on husbands 🤣🤣 thanks for the great video!
Hi I'm currently looking for My baby.. Wonder who is reputable, possibly 😊 Interested in a " puppy" , Please let me know if possible 😊 Thank you. ✝️🛐☝️🤠👍🇺🇸💯%
They get up and go do there job so you have to give them a job. Check the house make sure it's ok, patrol outside, etc. I trained mine do security checks. Check doors windows. It's just busy work until she took down a thief in my garage. We take it much more serious now. 😊
I train service dogs they are genetically engineered to work 12 to 15 hours a day no problem. I'm sorry you just own a working class, and unless you can spend on average 50 hours a week working, training, running a week, sorry wrong dog for busy home.the more time you spend doing these with your dog, the less biting, destruction, better behave dog. I hope this helps
