When I was a kid, a house a little ways down the street from mine caught on fire one night and the neighbors next to that house had told my parents that the firefighters think that the dog inside the house was playing around with a toy and drug it too close to a floor heater and it caught the toy on fire and then spread to the carpet and curtains from there. The owners were out of town at the time and had forgotten to turn the heater off before they left and it was still running when the fire occured.
@@39II98I8 some people can’t have kids, what’s wrong with having a dog in the house? Yes, these people were not smart leaving their dog out, that’s why cages were invented
@@puppykicker6701 people think you can just “train a dog” and it’ll be perfect. Like it’s literally a man made fleabag mutant. They’re dumb as all fuck. I used to absolutely love dogs until I had kids and realized how nasty dogs are
@puppykicker But you know whos the worse type of person. CAT owners!! House smells like piss and shit. ALWAYs and they always act like it doesn't. The owners are always CRAZY or socially retarded, and say stupid shit like what you said ☝️ 😂 I hope a Korean barbecue catches your feline and makes BBQ out of them..Dogs atleast have top 5 intelligence in the Animal kingdom, don't kill babies or get them sick with nasty viruses ( cuz ya know, dirty just like the apartments or rented houses the live in) Basically cats, like you. Just waste precious oxygen. Honestly though, dufuq says they hope someone's pet dies in a fire? Apparently a pussssy (see what I did there) that if they actually had the balls to say that in a public setting. Would get dropped real quick at worst. Or look like an insensitive p.o.s. at best 👌
He jumped up and then he turned on a burner and that how the fire started first the smoke detectors went off and then some time later then the sercurity system went off with the smoke detectors
Yea what a great detailed story.. still don't see where the dog actually started the fire and wouldn't put it past the corrupt people of Michigan to be trying to blame the dog so they can commit insurance fraud..
@@joemoore5844 lol it was all edited later. The camera didn't pan, the homeowner just zoomed in on the screen. They do have in home cameras that you can pan remotely now too though. This was obviously edited later though
@@slimshadyjr9889 Yessir. Had spent the entire weekend cleaning and painting the kitchen. Gas stove, left a wood cutting board on the burners. Barely caught it.
The dog probably pushed a button or switch which turned on one of the burners. Thankfully, with newer models, you can lock the ranges when not in use. Very, very helpful when you have a cat that likes to climb all over everything in the middle of the night.
The dog didn't start this fire. The humans did when they left all that sh** on the kitchen work surfaces. Put your sh** away when not using it, people!
My friends German Shepherd started her stove a couple of times because her moron son's left food in a pot. Thankfully she was there both times to catch it before something bad happened
This is a prime example of why these people should tidy up before leaving the house and turn off all appliances especially heaters, stoves and ovens from a safety switch.
Not dog's fault. People train your dogs not to counter surf! People think that's funny with big dogs or they blame the dog. Learn how to train humanely when they are young. The dog can die in a fire while you're gone. Why are owners so dumb?
Exactly. I can put a plate full of steak down and walk away and my dogs won’t even look at it. People are always surprised by it. Train your dogs right, and humanely, as you said, and this crap won’t happen.
@@buzzkill5480 We do. I was pretty against it when we got our first. I heard all the horror stories. We had him(Apollo) 14+ years and he just died last month. The best dog EVER. We still have two. Daisy is 7 and Cam is almost 3. Once we got one, we couldn’t stop. Literally the sweetest dogs in the world if they are raised right.
Are the dogs OK? I guess no people were in the home at the time. That's a hella teachable moment! Keep combustibles away from the range! Be safe, everyone!
Your best friend wouldn't burn your house down for a snack. It's high time with bestow the revered title of man's best friend on to another non food obsessed animal.
A house fire started in my apartment complex and i lived 5 houses down and i was asleep until my sister woke me up and told me to get my cats while she got our dog
I know it's tempting to leave shit on / around the stove "because it's off," but this is literally what caused this It's a bad habit don't do it pepper did nothing wrong except want some food ;_;
Feed that dog...he just wanted a snack... He could have also turned the gas on without a flame while everyone was asleep. Knobs on top of the stove around young kids and dogs.
Insurance gives you a break with a home security system. This one even shouted about the fire because the beep was ignored. That might be what saved the house.
