On what day does a teenager who commits a violent crime become rehabilitated? On what day does anyone who commits a violent crime become rehabilitated? Turn your life around in prison if given a life sentence but you take your last breath there. Why should the criminal have freedom their victims don't have?

I doubt that we will ever be told the name and position of the official (s) within the legal system who authorised the release of this monster back into society. It is, after all, these officials who are complicit in facilitating the criminals' further crimes. The time has come, in cases such as this , for them to be held responsible for their decisions.

He did his time. He paid his price. 17 years. But it's not equal to the whole life that the victim paid. He still gets to have life. I don't know how the justice system comes up with what is equal or not. But society, if society was smart, should make up a law and that law should be NO VIOLENT offenders should be allowed back into society, PERIOD. We don't want them. So the justice system can let them out in 17 years but they've got to find a place to let them out into. Like their own island with work. They could have a tracking device implanted into them. They think that these non-humans should have human rights. You can't even hit a dog over the head with a nickle plated weight. But he's allowed to hit a human with one. I've seen animal torturers get 99 years but humans get murdered and only get 25 years.

@dinosawrusgoRAWR

Ok I hope this is easy to read! I have a degree in forensic science with my “major” in psychology and I have further studied psychology at degree level. What a lot of people don’t realise is that there is what is colloquially known as the “psychopathic gene” which can account for someone to actively carry out senseless murders. It can be genetically ingrained in us to show psychopathic traits and this small mutation in the DNA has been suggested that that is why some people are considered “born killers”. HOWEVER, this does not account for any traumatic experiences that person has had to deal with in their early years (what made made them “snap”). If you compare brain scans then there are certain areas - can’t remember off the top of my head - that are significantly different to a “normal” brain scan. most people with the gene only discover that this piece of information has been “switched on” through genetic testing or are more likely to be a psychopath through using the Hare Psychopathy Checklist. James Fallon (American geneticist and psychologist) discovered the gene responsible and discovered that genetically he has the brain of a psychopath and displays the main traits (like manipulation, aggression etc). He said in an interview (or research paper) that he is capable of the most horrific murders ever and in his head he has murdered many people but hasn’t because he is capable of empathy and knows it’s wrong so won’t. Hope this helps!
@shanarablue339
@shanarablue339 4 года назад
dinosawrusgoRAWR fascinating how the brain actually works and the genetics that are passed down can basically be sitting in the background like a silent virus waiting on you pressing a certain key , at the end of the day there are obviously ppl out there would never show strong enough traits and only show the possibilities in scans . Pity though it wasn't a simpler thing to detect like in a blood test, but then what , we can't monitor all that have a slight possibility of snapping , you can't tag them for the rights of the human that hasn't committed a crime because his brain has a difference . And you can bet there folks out there do crimes and are sadistic just because they can with no visible or medical signs to prove anything . ( If we are a made species by aliens they mucked us up big time 😁 iam not getting into any religious stuff . )

I am so tired of the justice system and how it treats the victims. If you are a cold blooded murderer at the age of 16 what do you think he will be after living more than half his life in prison among other murderers??? A psychopath is a psychopath. He is not going to heal in prison. He is also a coward and a pervert. Imagine if he was some one who only killed policeofficers or lawyers or politicians ... would he be up for parole then? Those who released him should be held responsible and the last victim should sue the state.

That fiend was able to withstand his time in prison only by living day-by-day in anticipation of his release. He planned to injure someone again as soon as he got out so that he could thumb his nose at the authorities for imprisoning him in the first place. His little warped mind plotted for all those years. There should be a harsher sentence for those who get out and repeat their offence. He just got away with a free attack. Without punishment. Can you imagine if there was a law permitting instant death for those who repeat their offence when released? He would not have harmed anyone. He's a coward. Oddly enough, he did not attack any big burly men who could have crushed HIS skull. He's a small, frightened coward. They should bring back the lash. The thought of that would have been enough to deter HIM.

The man who perpetrated the violence is called a sociopath; such a person is incapable of feeling emotion or empathy, and it is a condition that usually has nothing to do with one’s upbringing. The legal system in the UK is far too lenient and forgiving, oftentimes giving sentences to child murders and killers of as little as 13 years! I’ve been saying it for years: those who commit gratuitous violence should be sentenced for life without parole; if a person can commit an atrocity, then they must be held accountable - irrespective of age or gender. There are so many case studies proving that criminality and violent behavior are IRREVERSIBLE, just ask a clinical psychologist. The jurisprudence of UK courts has systematically failed its law-abiding citizens. Wake up England and stop trying to be so “politically correct” !

I absolutely believe people can be born evil. And I believe they can’t be rehabilitated no matter how much therapy or work with them. Some people should just be put down like a dog who have bitten and can’t be rehabilitated. People like him, society have no need.....

Shout out to Katherine Kelly, I love your acting on Coronation street and these documentaries. I come NZ and have watched Coro since I was a little kid and you definately brought colour to Coro!. These doco's are such a shock to me and they are heartbreaking. While in lockdown during the virus pandemic I find more time on my hands. I knit while I watch my computer.

I went up to Dundee once to look after a very sick friend. I was horrified by the visible poverty there Young men with most of their teeth missing, emaciated middle aged people with their spines twisted by malnutrition. Evidence of deprivation and neglect everywhere I looked.. It was like something out of Dickens.

So... no one ever psychologically tested him to find out what makes him tick? Everyone has that one button that when pressed will result in a reaction, their vulnerability or the trigger that sent them on their murderous journey.

I'm actually using my dudes phone tonight so I'm having to comment on his account instead of my own. My name is Dawn not Bernie lol anyways I'd just like to say I'm from Columbus Ohio and I didn't have a problem understanding anyone from the show. Maybe the few who did have some problems understanding ppl speaking shld either clean out your 👂 or even decide not to finish watching and go find a show you can understand and not complain about. Just saying... 😂

I know some accents are hard to understand. And I don't know why but to me it sounds like you're ignorant when you say you can't understand someone and complain about it. This is not a complaint it's just something fun I remember when I was in Europe in the 90s. And there were parts of Ireland where I absolutely could not understand a word they were saying because the accent was so heavy. Do you really call it an accent if you're in their country listening to them speak? I must be the one that had the accent, right? Ta.
