There should be a snake coming out of the lamb's skull. The sprites for this animation are in the 'resources' folder. However, I found that they are actually not included in the animation file for dogma angel. Not sure why. Also, if you ask me why the run took so long, I don't know either :|
From the wiki, it looks like it is because there are three versions of each, or they might briefly animate, like the troll skull at the start of the video. It might be that they only animate occasionally, or the pause might be preventing it
@Snacker6 that's true for Isaac's head, the troll face and the fly. But the snake coming out of the skull is not animated. Maybe you want to check out the file '950.002_dogma angel.anm2'
Think the reason those files arent apart of the actual dogma animation is because the animation is probably the glitched 'particles', then those 4 states are just thrown ontop when ever they are suppose to occur. Not directly linked to the animation. Probably easier to do it this way in order to introduce those random animations.

@@TheRealBatabii yes trollge Trollge is a new variation of the trollface meme. Trollge is now pretty creepy, Now it manipulates the physics of normal world (Flies in the air when covered in oil or blood), Trolls people by killing them, cutting off their body parts, committing massive genocide etc.
I like to imagine the demonic Troll face was a three-for-one reference, one for various Troll faces throughout the game (e.g. Troll bombs, Chaos), one for the Trollge meme, and one for Satan in regards to the theory that every glitched form represents a boss. Edit: To elaborate on the above theory, the theory is that every glitched form represents a boss from the original final paths, with Isaac's head representing Isaac, the fly representing ???, the goat/sheep skull with the snake is The Lamb, and the demonic troll face representing Satan as mentioned above.

additionally, the lamb skull is (supposed to?) have an animation where a snake comes out of the eye. the snake is probably a reference to the snake that made eve eat the apple
The fact that these images have no clear correlation with each other at first makes them even more terrific when you can only see them for half a second, you can't even comprehend what where they, you can only see a weird mesh of images and static...
Kinda crazy that Isaac came out when trollface was popular and now the final major expansion comes out when trollface is getting a resurgence. We've gone full circle.
Something I think you DIDN'T notice, though, is that the frames have variations, three in total for each: -The Isaac head has a tear streak on the right side of it's face that gets longer or shorter. -The fly spreads it's wings. -The demon Troll-Face opens it's mouth wider and wider. -The Lamb Skull has two frames where a snake is poking out of it's left eye-socket. That, though, is really all there is to these...
One thing I love about this is how subtle it is, about how all the "angelic" elements of the game may not be as benevolent as you may first think. Also it's the biggest foreshadowing of the coming fight with the beast.
these are also briefly animated as well, though it's not shown here (aside from the demon troll face) due to pause i assume. they each have 3 frames: the lamb head has a snake come out of its eye, which turns to face the camera the mosquito opens its wings the isaac head cries and the demon troll face lowers its jaw.

i want to thank you for all the time you spent for us to give us info that most of us dont need and being a time consumer because damn lockdown sucks time is slower than normal to those people who have nothing to do.
So Isaac's own reflection in the tv screen, a fly, maybe on the screen or as a representation of Beelzebub, the trollface with demon horns is probably some image from the christian broadcast since they love to fearmonger demons, even showing them, and the lamb might be an image of jesus as Isaac's imagination perceves it.

I think those sprites correspond to the four harbingers. While the fly definitely impersonates Pestilence, the lamb's skull is most likely Death, the trollface is probably War and Isaac's head could be Famine.
Nah it's blue baby, each of the images corresponds to a boss. Isaacs head is Isaac, Trollface is Satan, Lamb skull is The Lamb, and the fly is Blue Baby

The Lamb skull could be Satan, The Lamb boss Troll face or Trollege with horns could be Loki, Lil horn, Big horn, The Beast or as a Joke The Fly could be a reference to the Why birth Why Fly, the Flies locusts and anything fly related

Anyone noticed that these forms kinda represent some bosses (Troll face with horns can represent bosses like Satan, fallen, dark one, bighorn, little horn etc., a fly can represent bosses like duke of flies, Isaac represents Isaac boss and Lambs skull represents the lamb).
if you shoot dogma with magnetic tears he starts to have a weird "static TV effect* that's the only time i have seen it do that effect , i believed mom's eyes , magnetic tears and other stuff would trigger it but didnt happen.
It seems like each icon is referring to the 2 bosses you fight based on which path you take. The bosses in cathedral and chest would be Isaac for Isaac and the fly for Blue baby/???. For Sheol and Dark room it would be the trollface for satan and the lamb head for the lamb. As to what specific metaphor I'm not sure but it could be an example of how this boss is supposed to be all encompassing, to tie in most if not all endings.
Isaac was set to be sacrificed to God, but God stopped his father and told him it was to test his faith, instead he asked to sacrifice a Lamb, that's what the Lamb fight represents in the game (appearing as a sort of Demon), and what probably represents here, the fly is most likely referencing to all the flies in the game which are a big part of the game if you think about it and probably also about Locusts of the apocalypse maybe
Hm... might the fly have a connection to Beelzebub? In fact, all of them can be seen as interpretations of The Devil. Beelzebub- Lord Of The Flies, satanic figure Lamb Skull- The Lamb boss, as well as Sacrificial Lambs, etc. Troll Face- looks kind of like The Beast Issac Face- Issac sees himself as the devil
I remember seeing the trollface one ingame. It was after i beat dogma a fair amount of times, so i absolutely did not expect to see it there, and got really confused, before ruling it off as me being insane for thinking i saw a trollface for a super short amount of time, before discovering it as an actual feature of dogma.
Well it’s the four harbingers, obviously. Trollface is war (troll-bombs), Fly is pestilence (duh), lamb is death (well it’s a skull idk) and isaac is the remaining famine because... um, well... have you seen what he considers dinner or dessert? Yeah I know this is the most far-fetched.
The most off putting one is the fly just because of how realistic it looks. It makes the game unsettling. Kind of like the wormy episode of Spongebob when it shows an extreme closeup of a butterfly. Just so out of the ordinary
I don't know if it's been covered yet, but I noticed a weird "synergy" in a run I had the other day. If you have continuum and tractor beam, when the tears go off the screen they don't wrap to the other side. They wrap as if Isaac himself was the other side. It makes it very easy to layer tears in front of you if you're close to the edge of the screen.
I have had that several times but it's just because the tears HAVE to stay inside the beam, even going as far as to skip from the opposite side of the screen directly to Isaac, if I remember it can break using items like lachryphagy
I think this might represent the other routes in the game, isaac's head being the Isaac or ??? bossfights, the lamb skull being The Lamb in the Dark Room, the fly, representing Mother (and maybe the corpse levels) and the troll maybe being mega satan because thats whats left, but I think its just when you get killed
