Allegro from Violin Sonata no. 2 by J.S. Bach played by David Hansson. I am 1/2 of the Swedish duo The Gothenburg Combo (the better half is Thomas Hansy). I also teach the Classical Guitar at the Academy of Music in Malmö, Sweden together with my colleague Göran Söllscher. I'll be posting some of my unedited spontaneous renditions of some of my favorite pieces here. Rules are simple: recording is done on a simple mobile phone: no editing, no sweetening, Just one take: warts and all!

Hi David! This precision is breathtaking for an amateur guitarist like me. But it's not only that, the whole interpretation is perfect to my ear. Thanks for this treat. Best regards, Günter

Hi Gunther! Thank you so much for these wonderful words! Indeed-Bach is in my opinion the best exercise there is-both musically and technically. Why? Because it is so naked, there is nowhere to hide, you can't cheat :-) !! And everytime I play those pieces I discover something new!
