Tag along as we visit top interior designers at home and in their offices where they share what their beloved dogs mean to them. It's a heart warming and funny video with moments you'll love to share!
Totally, that was so great!!! Although he missed his queue they know their dog so well and knew he’d come running. It was great how Teddy ended it with a long deep bow-wow in a operatic style, lol!
I love this video!!! My two dogs are everything to me. God bless you all for loving dogs and bringing them into your lives and homes! Ted steals the show at the end! lol!
This video is by far my most favorite of all. I watch it over amd over again. Teddy is a riot, and such a typical Yorkie. He reminds me of my Yorkie, Chico whom I miss so much. My family amd I think of him everyday. Thanks so much Susanna for this wonderful video.
We are both dog lovers as are many designers! Hope you've seen the book Susanna and I collaborated on - At Home with Dogs and Their Designers! We will be starting to work on a sequel with British designers this fall.
Thank you Mylena! Susanna and I are both dog lovers so we love that you appreciated! This is what inspired Susanna's dog books (for which I have contributed the photography) - Stacey (behind the camera).
Have you seen Susanna Salk's book, At Home with Dogs and Their Designers, for which I did the photography? And we did a few more here with Jonathan Adler and Isaac Mizrahi!
Oh my Lord. Isn't this the best? Without my dogs thru the yrs...my heart would never be the same...they fill me with every emotion...... Mostly the love only a dog can give. Unconditional! I would just wither w.out my pup...my pal My sweetheart💜💞🦋💞
I understand what Steven Gambrel means when he said that the house felt empty when his dog passed away. I had the same experience after 13 years when my daschund, Boudreaux passed away. The house did feel like a big empty hole without a dog in residence.
Me too! We went for a year after our mastiff passed away! We went out to the SPCA on Labor Day exactly one year after she crossed the rainbow bridge. I just couldn’t be without a dog any longer and my husband agreed!
I recently found your channel and have been binge watching your videos. I love all the gloriously beautiful homes and interesting people we get to see. However, this is by far my favorite! We love our dogs!!! Brilliant video! I'm hoping to find an annual video update on all your featured people with their fabulous dogs!
Thank you!! So glad you have found us! AND we have a book based on this video coming October 3 - Dogs and Their Designers - with Susanna as author and me as photographer. Available for pre-order now on Amazon! It includes many of the designers you have seen here on our channel. Hope you enjoy! - Stacey
So glad you liked this - did you know that Susanna authored a book "At Home with Dogs and Their Designers" which I photographed? We are currently working on the sequel with British designers. We also have two other dog videos here: one with Isaac Mizrahi and one with Jonathan Adler! 🐶❤️
Lol Howard Slatkin, the picture of the beautiful but untouched dog bed totally backed up what he was saying that his dog thinks the human couch is her doggie bed 🤣
Delightful! My last dog was from the pound. I was told there were three dogs down there on the last ten days before euthanasia. I went down and picked out the one with no inclination to bite or fight. We called him Jethro, Jethro from Deathrow.
Glad to hear!! And perhaps you would appreciate our books - At Home with Dogs and their Designers snd At Home in the English Countryside - Designers snd their Dogs!
Oh my goodness! I didn't think I could love this channel any more than I already do until I watched this. I have two gorgeous border collies, who have totally wrecked our house and our garden. Without them, though, that's exactly what it would be: a house and a garden. With them it's a home. Sadly, our beloved first dog, Jessie, died some years ago and (yep, I know some people think this is crazy and even obscene) but I thought I would never get over the grief. The scars are still there and sometimes they re-open and bleed, but Jessie was laid to rest in our garden that she loved so much and we still have her lovely daughter. Every hearth needs a dog, without, it's just bricks and mortar. Thank you for a really heart warming video.
Thank you so much!! We feel the same. I lost my 14-1/2 yellow lab last month snd am definitely still grieving so I can relate. They are integral parts of our family and will always be in our hearts!
This is such a great video, I have two dogs and I take one of them to work, alternating between them. It is a joy to have a dog by your side when working, others enjoy and feel more at ease when there is a dog around. Thank you for the video.
I can´t believe this video has 8 years already!!! it feels like yesterday for me to see some of these dogs for the first time (not to mention the first at home with dogs series). Such a special video
I have no interest in having a dog of my own but I do enjoy seeing other people's relationships with their dogs. I guess it's a vicarious thing - I feel the same about children.
OMG !!! I love this video !!! Such sweet dogs !!! We miss our Shih Tzu "Pickles" !! She passed this past spring, just now ready to adopt another dog soon, its not the same without a four legged friend around the house.
How lovely to see people who love and appreciate these wonderful animals who bring so much love and joy to our lives. If bringing a new memebr in the family, please make sure to adopt as millions and millions of dogs are looking for home.
This video must have been the inspiration for one of Susanna's dog books photographed by Stacey. No doubt, Rizzoli's most favorite coffee table books immortalizing owners' beloved dogs. How "purfect!"
Watching this again, utter joy, have the books of course ! I just cannot believe that I waited until I was 40 to get a dog ! There again I worked in haute couture in Paris and the hours were longggggggggggggg with many weekends preparing shows and then production so a dog would mabye not have been the best idea. It was working with Ines de la Fressange that I got my first Jack Russell, named Pucci, of course ! Then came another Jack called Peach then later on Bahia then Alias then Dora. Alias had three babies but only the two boys survived, this was in Brazil. One was Caramel because he stuck to me all day, just staring into my eyes lovingly. He passed away last year. Pucci and Peach and Alias have also gone to the beach as I say and I still have Dora who is 14 this year, she was born on the 8th of the 8th 2008 and in Chinese culture 888 is the absolute best number. Every day I tell her stories, cover her in kisses and hug her to sleep. Without her I cannot imagine my life. My Lady sleeps with my neighbours that she adopted, yes it goes both ways. I'm not jealous, love is love ! xo
Greetings! I love your channel and I binge watch whenever I can. I love this style. Is it called Eclectic Maximalism? I'm from Singapore and it is very, very rare to see this style here (people here likes the cold hospital look) but I love it so much and actually copied some idea as I recently moved into my own tiny apartment. Thank you, Susanna for bringing lots of colours and ideas into my life. Best wishes!
I would rather give up my bed than my dog, they are such an essentiel part of the house ! My little Dora has her embroidered stool to get up on the bed and will not leave the bed until I do or go out in the garden without me. My Lady ( Britanny spaniel ) puts her head around the door and almost smiles I swear! that means come and play in the garden ,,, I never am down with them, it's not possible ,,, the perfect life Partner ,,, god bless all pets ,,
