Dogs Reacting to First Snow - Try Not To Laugh 

Dogs are the best. The greatest gift ever.

In Michigan we had a heavy snow fall, when I went out to feed the dogs, I couldn't see them anywhere so naturally I call out, two large snow drifts stood up, made a huge cloud of falling snow, and there stood two beautiful St Bernard's. They were just having the time of their lives running around in three feet of fresh fallen snow.

The dog carrying its own sled up the hill then zooming down was the best!

I loved especially liked the one where the dog carried the sled up the hill by himself, then hopped on it to slide down the hill again. Pretty smart! They were all adorable tho.

Huskies love the snow. Mine 2 are Giant Canadian Husky and Timber Wolf crosses. Brothers. They have insulated dog houses. We live in Alberta, Canada, and they use them in the summer to stay cool sometimes, but other than that, they think the purpose of houses is to stand on top of them and howl their nightly duets to the local wolves. During the winter, in a snowfall, they curl up and let the snow cover them. I've never seen them sleep in the dog houses when it's snowing.

I just saw aspects of every dog I've ever had. The little Dachshund hiding in his blanket is my current dy. He won't even go out when it's raining.😂

The tobogganing dog carrying his toboggan up the hill so it could slide down was fascinating.

I really loved that last little guy. I was not expecting that. He was so cute. Perfect weather for huskies.

The terrier pulling on the snow man's arm was the best. I had a Scottish terrier that was the best he lived 19 years.

This TOTALLY sounds like my sister’s Sable GSD! When her and I take him out to play in the winter, and there’s snow on the ground (the more snow the better) he goes ABSOLUTELY NUTS! He NEVER wants to go back home!

Okay...it's difficult to make me crack up out loud but this did!! I'm a cat lady so my two kitties thought I was nuts!!!

Our 95-pound 9-month-old female Great Pyrenees just experienced her first snow of 3-5 inches, and we could barely get her to come inside to eat. Now she is whining because it is already all melting away. LOL!

Love to see all the Huskies finally get to be in their happy place of cold and snow. I think it's cruel to own them in the tropics. Selfish even. It's sweltering in Hawai'i in the summer and I always feel so bad for them. It would be like me taking my Nina to Alaska and letting her tiny Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound 10lbs freeze in a snowbank. Sure there's AC and Puffr Jackets but coping isn't living your best life. Just sayin...and clearly Iris wants a fireplace and cozy fire to come in to.

My dog passed away 2 months ago almost made it to 14 after being diabetic for almost 7 years .. he loved the snow so much. He was so happy to roll around in it. Rest in peace Cocoa!

My Belgian Schippreke would sleep on top of the snow & let it cover him up after he dug himself a nest on the frozen ground.He had an outdoor shelter with blankets, cedar sawdust shaving & a bed of hay to sleep on..I even put a curtain made of a worn out bed sheet to block the wind & help keep his body warmth in the doghouse. He preferred the snow.

My dog was born in winter so doing her business was always on a pile of snow. When spring came, she refused to go to the bathroom unless she found a pile of snow to go on. It was a very frustrating few weeks once the snow was gone. Every year after that, when it would be snowing, she would go crazy wanting to be outside all the time. She was a Irish setter German shepherd mix

LUV the dog tht carried the plastic toboggan up the hill so "he" could ride it back down the hill!! & Folks.. Word of WARNING.. DON'T swing ur dogs & cats etc. by their limbs (arms/legs or tail) this practice CAN SEVERELY HARM ur animals!! The limbs & tail could separate from their sockets & cripple ur critter!!!

My pit bull lives for the snow. 9 months out of the year she's just mildly ok with going for hikes, etc. Come the snow...and I can't get her in. She can spend hours doing Zoomies.

3:24 - I don't see any reason for AC being called... this Husky looks perfectly fine to me... I've seen one asleep and covered in snow - they enjoy this situation. Huskies are "snow dogs" and they need winter time outside. The only pain for them is to be left outside in summer without shade and/or water provided...

The dogs with the snowman reminded me of Frosty the Crackman in the hood.....Frosty the Crackman was a fairytale they say but he came to life one winters day and the children are here to say, there must have been some magic in that old crack pipe they found, for when they placed it in his mouth he began to dance around. Oh Frost the Crackman now is merrily on his way with a little crack here an a little crack there Frosty is off to play! :-)
