Watching this video made my cry. I felt so bad for Hugo and you guys. Hugo knew something was going on; but he came out of surgery as successfully as the good Dr. could perform. Hugo was brave. Yeah, he really is. But he was walking because he was still under anesthesia. The next day he was barely walking outside..

Actually, it is like human surgery; they wanted me to get up after I had major surgery and walk to keep me from getting pneumonia or from developing a clot or having a pulmonary embolism. They do this all the time now with everyone just about. By the way, this is like the third video I've watched, you two are amazing fur paw-rents people should care about their pets like this always the depend on us maybe even more than human babies and children.

He was under anesthesia and he didn’t feel the laun right after coming out. The day after the surgery he couldn’t even move himself from his bed. We were feeding him from our hands. ❤️

@@isatom.frenchies We feel that Hugo should have stayed overnight in the hospital after surgery for monitoring/pain meds and that painkillers should be given for him to take at home for a few days. We have had surgery so we can relate to Hugo. Very happy that he is recovering but he needs lots of sleep/rest in a good bed and good food to heal his tissues. Sending lots of hugs and 💞💓😘to Hugo!!

After hearing about thd other side of his heart and him then getting operated on, I was filled with such anxiety. I could just imagine what you guys were going thru. I'm so glad he came out well. I know your hearts must have been pounding those 5 hrs of waiting.

He an enlarged heart.They were able to repair one side but the other sideis too damaged.So the prognosis is not very good.It is shortening is life.So sad.He is young too.

All I can say is that I have been praying my heart out all day for my sweet special hugo. My husband and I have been following little hugo loving every minute of his sweet cute antics. As we have a frenchie as well. We show our frenchie all the time what your 2 sweet babies are up to all the time. Again please understand I weep for your loss, just as I would if I lost my own. Praise God you were able to provide surgery. Please everyone, NEVER buy a dog over an internet site, bad breeders are everywhere. Know your breeder before you buy! I was very anxious and worried the whole time for Hugo.I was crying 20:56 minutes non stop.Isa was worried too for her best friend.How much brave has Hugo inside him and how much protective you guys are with him.God protects you every single day.You are wonderful people both of you.I am very glad and relieved for Hugo that he is ok.Hope he could live a lot of years. P.S.A great name for hippo would be Hector,i don't know but i loved it much. Sorry for writing so much and bother you.May be all the best to you and your dogs.You deserve it.🙂

My frenchie Yoda and I love Hugo and Isa. They are beautiful!! Hugo has the sweetest baby face and you can't help but just want to give him a big hug. I love animals so, so much & watching this was very difficult & emotional. I am so happy Hugo has had his surgery & is now getting better. Glad precious Hugo pulled through. Keith and I owned many dogs in our 34yr marriage. It's very hard when your dog is sick or have to be put down. Not easy Ever! Our Border Collie Tippy had Valley Fever of the brain he died at 7yrs during a seizure at home. My Grandmother from Hungary use to sing to her Grandchildren "You are my Sunshine"! Thank you for that special memory. I miss her very much! Her name was Mary Mehringer. Thank you! Our prayers are with you all and precious Hugo. Joan and Keith Bates
