@@mikerincon9903 what year for $16.9k? Also after 2 or 3 years doesn't the BMW X1 experience lots of issues, things break down, need lotsa repairs, etc? Thanks!!
great review! actually maybe one of the best on youtube for this car. you basically said everything that i experience each day that i drive my x1 35i. I still have smiles on my face after every spirited drive. it looks so small from the outside but it packs a lot of space for its size. I move from a 3 bedroom apartment with this car to my surprise. thats including sofa, bed, dressers etc. I drove the 2018 model before i purchased this one and honestly after driving it to my doctors office i turned around and gave it back to the dealer. It felt like i was driving a minivan. The e84 is more spirited and nimble.
Nice review, thanks. I picked up one of these similar to yours except mine in AWD but bare bones otherwise, no sunroof or LCD screen for $21K with 33K miles, I wanted a little rocket and I got it, back seat area is a bit small but sufficient for around town. I am getting around 22mpg, wish it was a little bit better. Bottom line, when I press on the gas, it moves and and it moves very quickly, no bullshit. Love the Turbo!!
i just bought this car, same color, same model, same year. i paid 24,000 overall (taxes and everything) with only 24,000 miles on it. i love it! can you tell me where you got your hitch? i want to pull a small trailer with it, i heard this thing can pull up to 3500-4000 lbs
Roberto Vera I have been checking the vehicle history of X1s in general and they did have a couple of recalls from the manufacturer and also had a few engine issues. How is your experience till now ?
Naren Varma I have driven my car for only 2,000 miles so far. So far everything is perfect. I haven’t heard of anything serious either; I thought I did my homework okay before I bought it but maybe I missed something? I read carcomplaints.com and only saw about 7, compared to how many 2015 bmw x1were built though? I also noted that a lot of problems occurred within a few thousand miles of driving the car from the dealership and also most problems are dated back to 2014,2015, 2016, so i figured they might’ve fixed the issues on mine. Don’t take my word for the ultimate advice though. All i can say is so far I love the car and hopefully mine won’t bring up any serious issues. All cars have issues eventually.
If only the Outlander Sport was that throaty! The CVT pisses me off everyday! Sometimes I wish we would've stayed with the Fusion and just bit the bullet to get it fixed.
