Doing a VISA RUN from Da Nang to Lao Bao, Laos (30 day tourist visa) 

Very nice video, can you please tell me how did you found the bus? Some agency or by yourself? I m in Nha Trang now and planning visa run also.

Basically, add $95 per month to the cost-of-living in Vietnam as well as "cost of time" involved of 1-2 days each month to do the Visa run. This is on top of rent, utilities, food, transportation, etc. Maybe it is best to seek a country where there is a long-term or at least longer than 30 day term to live within the country. Otherwise, this 30-day visa run stuff isn't worth it to stay in Vietnam.

Hey brother thanks for the video... I'm doing the same next week Couldn't you just avoid going into Laos to avoid paying the Laos visa. Why not just stamp out in Vietnam then hangabout the transit area and come straight back into Vietnam? This is if you already have your evisa for Vietnam approved... Unlike your situation...

Nice video. I will stick with flying to Bangkok. 80-100 round trip leave at 10am get home at 5. Visa exemption stamp no cost and don’t loose a whole page in my passport. Low stress simple. Keep filming. Thank you for sharing your experience.

I did this and stayed just over the border for 2 nights. Accomodation isnt the best and although you can get a bus to a bigger town, they come back to the border once a day between 6am and 8am, noone really knows when.

Writing from Lao Bao at the moment, I came here today after a long motorcycle ride, did the visa run, paid to so many places and people etc... staying at this town for the night, first thing tomorrow, getting out of here!!!! But at the end it was a mission complete, i have my 30 day visa now.

I have a question. Im planning on coming to Laos soon with E-visa. I bought my ticket to Laos but havent bought my return one becaus I dont know how long I will stay there. If I dont book a return ticket, will there be a problem at the entry? Also Im going to Laos from Thailand. Same problem may occur here too ? I would appreacite it If you could reply

Was just watching another youtubers video living in Vietnam. He said it's no problem getting a 30 day visa extension and he knows many people that are already past 5 30 day exyensions fyi.
