It sounded fairly american to me. A mix between southern and midwestern. Like he's from the south, but has lived in the midwest for awhile, like near wisconson.

I have a British friend whose normal accent is General American... Meanwhile, I've never been to no English speaking country and I have a British accent...

😂 Swear she reacted just as surprised as I did when I first heard my Australian boyfriend hide his accent. It scared the sh*t outta me. I laughed but I couldn’t even look at him like he was the same person. People always tell me I have deepest voice out of any guy they’ve ever heard but his voice was so deep when he removed his accent I couldn’t deal! I said the same thing she did too: Um, bro! Bring my babe back. I need that accent. Don’t do that again! Lol
It’s funny, you’re saying that, it really does scare some people! When I swap my English accent out at work for an American one, it really freaks them out ! 😂
