I love that you pointed out that photography has been around years before social media, but also remember nature has been around a heck of a lot longer than photography too. Maybe a day now and then appreciating this beautiful world with just our own eyes would do us all good. You don’t have to get that perfect shot every time. 🌍☺️
Lovely talk. Totally understand and love your work. Videos of wildlife, or any creature, plus scenery is always a favourite for me. I follow a few favourite channels on Facebook and yours is at the top. I will always tick like if I like something and comment when something touches me on any video, BUT, I always feel guilty when a video is very watchable but I do not comment. I appreciate the time taken to film and edit. I think we all struggle with things that we overthink. Keep up the good work❤
Just came back to watch this, it has fixed me before and this time I am going to try and not let social media destroy my work again. It was getting to much, stress shouldn’t be caused by social media. I remembered this video, it has saved me, thanks Adam ❤️
Great Video Adam. It’s nice that people like our photographs but it can be a little frustrating when someone has a pop because they don’t like it. Photography is very subjective so as long as I like it that’s all that matters to me.
Adam my English is not so good to give my thoughts words 😕 but it was fine to listen to your thoughts and ideas about photography and social media. On the moment I have left Instagram for awhile so apologies for missing your wonderful and beautiful photos. That always tells a story. ❤
Nicely passionate video mate and great points. It’s definitely something most of us struggle with and it can certainly affect mental health. There’s also a balance to find if you’re using social media as part of your photography or wildlife business where likes, comments and shares are important. But as you say, regardless of all that, you need to be posting for the love of it more so than anything else.
