DOING IT NOW! Living With Alacrity - is Part #3 of TAKING IT PERSONALLY: Torah Tools for Spiritual Growth with Rabbi Michael Skobac, Educational Director of Jews for Judaism
Doing it Now: Living With Alacrity
When we realize that life is short and that there are many important things to accomplish, it becomes clear that wasting time is a huge problem. "Zerizut" is the Hebrew term for alacrity, and describes the personality trait of not putting off those things in our lives that should be done without delay. This lecture explores Torah teachings on how to live more full and productive lives by being mindful of our relationship to time.

Im a Jew, who has come out of the Messianic movement. I am convinced that Judaism is the truth...except for 1 problem that no-one has been able to answer me. Is 11:4 : If the Messiah is not jesus, and he is just a man, than how can he "Slay the wicked with the breath of his mouth??? This one question is driving me nuts. I have searched the internet all over the place, and although the christians have no-problem pointing out that this verse can be speaking of none other than Jesus, the Jews do not even touch it, as far as I can tell. Please help me, for my faith in Judaism, is beginning to show some cracks because of this question.
