@@JourneyWithCameron hey man I thought about doing this but decided against it. But I found some interesting stuff during my brief research here in Socal. I found a company that contracts out sprinter van and box truck owner ops. The catch is that you have to have your hazmat endorsement and a California hazmat transport license which obviously means you need to get an LLC and MC authority (all of which is easy to get). But they seem super legit. I am a class A CDL driver for over 10 years and still have all my endorsements, but people can get the hazamat endorsement on just a class C license. I was a class A owner op for 4 years hauling crude oil, and have done a lot of things in trucking. The money is great, buy I was miserable in that business. I'm keeping my CDL as a safety net but I'm happy to be moving on. Here is my point, I think you should research another market, like the southern California area as if you were looking for yourself. It doesn't take much time. Then you upload a video with what you found. Then you do the same with other markets and again post videos with exactly what you found. Your RU-vid brand and following would sky rocket because there are so many people in many big markets that don't know how to research their market for load possibilities. I would try Socal as an experiment and see if it works for your social media presence. If it works you can turn it into a series of "market specific" videos. I don't see any other youtuber doing that and i think viewers would love it. People look for content like yours not just for general information, they really want to know what they can do in their area. Just a thought, good luck man!

I would have to break it down and unload each case of water by hand. Done it before. Doesn’t take too long but definitely is some work. I can usually get some more money if that’s the case.

Yeah man otr with a van just doesn’t seem like it’ll make sense for me. I’m just gonna build my local/regional network and then build the infrastructure to hire other owner/operators and be able to offer good on demand loads to people too.

Mine is a medium roof ford transit. It’s the 130” wheelbase. Mines a bit short but I make it work

Idk man these ones are pretty tall. I want to say they are atleast 46” tall. Some of the tallest pallets I’ve picked up. Plus the forklift operator needs a few inches above and below atleast

I think I have about 49 inch Clarence would they let you break it down ? Maybe just break down the top of the pallet so it would fit.

@@morenofernando6663 yeah I’d imagine you could make it work. At the end of the day you’re really only limited by your creativity, and of course whoever is hiring you. Communication is key but I’d imagine most wouldn’t mind it being broken down, especially just partially

I usually have atleast my straps, some bungee cords, furniture dollys, moving blankets, basic tools and I really need to get a good 3 in 1 dolly but I’ve managed without it

Welcome!! Nice to meet you. So if y’all are staying local within NV it’s not necessary since y’all don’t plan to do interstate and a van will be under 10,001 lbs so no need. I don’t have one. If you plan to deal with brokers though then you’ll need one. I mostly use the apps and build relationships with local businesses

Hmm not sure if you can with the apps. With side work sure, but you’d have to figure out insurance and stuff still. I’m not sure it would be a good ROI

I could fit both in my van but my payload won’t allow for it. They are 2,000 lbs each and my payload is only like 3,000
