That's true! However, if your relationship was otherwise good and you've both ego get in the way, it's both your losses. It's why it's important to really give things time and for both people in the relationship to calm down first and not make rash decisions.

She's given you many of these signs I covered in this video? If she's STILL sending you these sorts of signals even now 6 months after the breakup, you might still have a chance. Obviously with that amount of time having passed since the breakup, your odds aren't likely very good at this point, but I have seen some of my clients win back their ex even a year or more after the initial breakup. I would suggest you start moving on with your life and accept that she may be gone for good, but that doesn't mean you have to close the door to re-connecting again if she shows any interest down the road. Brad, I would appreciate your two. My GF left me 5 days ago after 8 months, and NC since. Equally good times and bad times because my kiddo's mama tried to ruin us, and it stressed us both out. She is also at a different stage of life and will move to the other side of the country for school in August. She would say we will marry someday and be together forever. My now ex and I have been split for a month and some change now. Never had one problem in our 2 and a half, almost 3 year relationship. Why are so many guys on here crying about their ex leaving, when you are the prize. If you were good to her, and she left, then it’s her loss/her future regret. No need to get hung up on one woman, that can’t even appreciate you. Stop letting your ego substitute for heartbreak, and move on to better, but first, stop trying to do no contact to ‘win’ her back, but do it to get yourself back. When you Love and improve yourself and stop trying to get her back, is when she will eventually recognize her mistake.
I am going through the same thing after one of the shortest marriages ever. I got married to an ex girlfriend from many years ago. 8 months in, she abruptly ended the relationship and gave no warning or signals that she was going to do this. It was out of nowhere. I got accused of cheating, but it was her that was cheating. I recently figured out who the guy is. It has been extremely traumatic, and I believe I was dealing with a covert narcissist. Brad she said she was amicably seeing someone, sound like she wanted a reaction from me, I didn’t give one. Here's a new one. I drink at a bar daily... one of the waitresses declared her interest last week... rather strong. So took her out on Thursday. I agree with most of your points. With the one inducing jealousy i strongly disagree. For example for me would be such a deliberate action a total deal breaker. Think about that: it is possible to do tooth surgery without painkillers. One can survive it, but is barbaric and unnecessary. I would put it this way: if a situation arises in which jealousy is induced and it leads to a revaluation of attitude in your ex, well it is a kind of CIRCUMSTANCIAL effect. If you do it deliberately, with an effect in mind, well in that case is a cruel manipulation (additionally, you actually using a human being for it.) Every knowledge should be applied with morals and ethics.
Trying to incite jealousy, when done right can help the dumper realize of your worth, which tends to be buried in complacency especially in long term relationships. However, it is a red flag if you have to do that early on in the relationship. Could be just a mismatch of attachment styles!

Hi Brad, I’ve been researching your product and watching your videos and they have been helpful. My boyfriend broke up with me last Monday, but we separated on 4/16. Almost a month now. We were living together. Long story short, I fell into a deep depression after getting fired, terrible buyer’s remorse over new construction issues, financial worries, and grad school. I burned out. I turned to smoking weed at night to help numb and deal. I could not be there for him as he needed, and he left me because of these things, saying the only way we have a path forward is if I change. He's not over his ex yet which means your best move for you at this time would be to move on. Moving on from grief is very tough to do especially if he's been with his wife for a significant period of time. The memories won't be erased that quickly even if he wants to.

4 months of No Contact? It’s definitely time to reach out or find a way to reconnect. Come up with a legit sounding reason to contact him the first time if you can… could be a question / request for help… could be a meme or a joke you know he’d appreciate, etc. At this point I think you have to accept a bit of awkwardness with the first message because you don’t want to wait any longer before trying to connect. What would you advise if someone broke up with you, you had a monrh apart limited/no contact then was told "lets see how things go" and in rhe few weeks since there has been minimal effort/emorion? Saying they want to be 100% sure before rushing back in?
They're unsure of their feelings and wanting to take things slow. In this case, make sure you don't put all your eggs in that proverbial basket and try to open your dating pool instead of limiting it to your ex. That's right. Just let me set expectations that it's a tough battle for sure with kid/s involved and/or usually other responsibilities still tied to your ex, but it's best you do limited contact or what I call the dynamic "no contact" rule instead of the full on silence associated with the no contact rule. I am working on getting a job and learning how to drive. I was being controlling and almost always wanted to know of her whereabouts. We have disabilities and her mom has guardianship over her and doesn’t like me now and for that reason she can’t get back with me and I need help with finding out what I can do to change all that. I have done no contact and it worked and me and my ex and i got back together but when we were back together i was so busy that i couldn't text her or even call for two days and then she texted me the following days and told me that she wants to break up again becoz she feels like I'm no serious about and I'm not giving her attention. We then broke up again i think this time we won't get back together, and i miss her so much but I'm doing no contact again and I'm fighting everyday the urge to text or call her. I am hurting every single day but i think it will get better as time goes and i will be fine and live my life.
If you have a valid reason for not being able to communicate with her, then talk to her. Otherwise yes, consider moving on from this since a relationship does need work in order for it to thrive.

If your ex has the "Grass is Greener" Syndrome, realize and accept that this is outside your control and really the best you can do is becoming the best version of yourself, this includes NOT taking less than what you deserve and not settling to just becoming an option, especially if this used to be a stable relationship between you two. She's likely taken you for granted, so you don't really need that in your life. Use the law of attraction. You deserve love and worth of love, so you can only attract love. If she goes away from it, then you repelled her and will most likely attract her back if she vibrates as high as you. Otherwise, be open to new people who may be on your level. Be strong!

...a lot of coaches telling you the same thing again and again: "don't talk about the past, the heavy stuff, be light and funny and so on" But the problem is: you are NOT light, you are NOT funny, and THERE ARE things in-between you and your ex. If you CAN be cool, that's fine. But the relationship HAS it's history and it leaves its imprints in you. I always tend to lean towards the authentic direction: just communicating what you have inside you. Of course, it matters HOW you do it...but this pretending to be funny, keeping it fun is simply not an adult and ripe approach. It is possibly more useful on not fully matured/young personalities. After all, a breakup possibly gives you the chance to DEEPEN the relationship. Reunified you two rise stronger then you were before.

I highly advise against blocking an ex. I've just noticed a bunch of people having some problems reaching out later on because they've either deleted their ex, blocked (especially everywhere) or unfriended them, which creates an unnecessary dilemma really, if you ask me. It's important not to do that any more than you already have. By begging, it shows how you're not respecting your ex's need for space and time at the moment. Can't you see? In other words, you're making it hard for your ex to be attracted to you again. Your best bet is still to cut off contact completely for around a month or even more in order to clear your heads. You'd increase your chances of getting your ex back if you've got your sh*t together than if you were doing the opposite of the no contact rule which is begging/pleading or negotiating/trying to woo your ex again. Well, there are a few rare who take their exes back if you beg/plead but it hardly ever lasts since these people are taking their exes back out of pity. @breakupbradbrowning We've a good foundation, we're started the long distance after one wonderful year together. But it's pretty hard for us to be together, and as I said, she's not in her best. At the same time, I'm having a rough time in college, not being able to fully adapt and make friends. I think that's also one of the problems cus I ended up relying on her. I'm forcing myself to get out of my comfort zone so that I can feel better and prove her that I've changed. I'm trying to be positive and be there, but it's sooo hard for me. She was my gf and my best friend, so it's been hard to keep no contact. This week I've got better on respecting that and I've got an "I miss text" and she asked me if today we could call cus she has a lot of things to tell me (daily things, nothing special but she wants to share it with me). She told me that it's too early to get back, cus she's still not mentally well, but I think that it's a start. I think that mb, if we take baby steps and start building this relationship from the beginning (as friends), things could be different. Do you agree? I'd say wish you all the best. But I'm better off without you. It worked! I showed him i care but i love myself more! He felt and relaized what he lost. I kept myself busy, I STOPED calling, caring for him, instead I start loving myself, I became happier. He saw it and likes to get back together, even admitted how badly he treated me but im not risking my my heart again. No way! Block! And you are right, I deleted everything that has something to do with him. I healed easily. I didnt memorize his phone number, deletes his number ony phone and change mine. This way, we both fully lost way to contact each other. I love it! Coz i admit it was hard at the beginning but we have to remind ourselves that we are worthy of something more.

I feel like these breakup videos always seem to assume and act like your ex has no social life outside of dating and their entire life revolved around your relationship. I miss the FUCK out of my ex, but I can also assure you that she has some absolute wonderful, badass friends who between all of them will probably be able to fill the void of making her laugh and supporting her career and comforting her on her bad days and such. Moral of the story: go out and make friends and don’t make your partner the focal point of your entire life

If your ex is the responsible type who doesn't want to shock your kid when he broke up with you, then yes, it may not be so bad. It won't affect your chances or anything, as long as it's your ex's initiative to stay in touch with your kid versus the other way around. Otherwise it may be best for everyone involved to cut off contact for the time being.

Since it's a planned event which happened prior to the breakup, it's not necessarily considered as breaking the no contact rule. Ask him first if he still wants to go together. But i ran into him with his date, they walked into the bar I was at, and they left, I ran after them and we had a 2 mins convo basically he asking me why I was there like I was stalking him or something. Hi Brad, I bought your ex-back module. As regards th no contact rule, nearing 30 days, I mistakenly clicked on the Whatsapp number of my ex, and although she was offline, the call was reflected on the app. A day later, she responds with a “Yes?”. I havent replied though. Has the no contact been broken, because of this careless mistake? Should I reply that it was a wrong press, and apologize, or just ignore her text? Would greatly appreciate your input on this. Thank you!
It was a honest mistake so don't be so hard on yourself. Just make sure that mistake doesn't happen again though. But yes, you can send a quick message bout how you dialed by mistake and then continue on with the remaining days of the 30-day "no contact" rule.
