Our priest gave us really good advice when we got married. He said that marriage isn't 50/50. Marriage is 100/100. We both need to always be putting in our all. My husband has completely embraced his role as a provider. I have completely embraced my role as a caretaker. We do our budget together, ask each other permission before spending money, and don't resent each other for our roles in life. He doesn't demand I get a job and I don't demand he clean the house.

I'm a PK, but this is the 1st time I feel like I've heard a Christian couple speak and I feel they are truly balanced and complimentary. He truly LOVES her!!! She truly loves him. I can tell she laughs at all his jokes. She submits to him cuz she feels fully safe with him! He sees her value and let's her speak & loves talking to her. He respects her and I feel like I'm seeing them in a space of "We did the work & we've invested in ourselves & family". I can FEEL the Love!!! I've met a lot of pastors and I get alot of narcissist vibes. I actually don't get that from them. I feel like there's just a flow and ease that they've cultivated. 😍

I got divorced about a year and half after being marriage for a very long time. My EX was a retired military I was entitled to half of his retirement pay, I give up it all for peace. I have rebuilt my life. Brought a house, have a pay off luxury car and is building my retirement account to a 6 figure.

Building together is the best way. Your interviews are so good because you bring in excellent people...and you let them talk. "Not experts but experienced at making mistakes." I love that you're stating your goal of getting to 500k subs. I keep forgetting to ask people to like & subscribe. I'm going to start stating my goals in my videos. 1000 subs in a year. I think women know why they're asking for the man to pay the bills. They've probably seen women who have taken care of men and then the men leave them when they succeed. That happened to me personally so I'm not trying to do 50/50 anymore. Plus in 50/50 financially, women still do most of the household work and taking care of kids.

Yesssss to the mental stimulation! I love that you've put vocabulary to this 🙌🏾🙌🏾. When I reflect on someone that I've previously been drawn to (not in a relationship with), it was hands down his IQ. I loved his visionary nature, drive and his softness. I was literally turned on by the fact that he mentioned he reads like 5-10 books monthly, his ventures and his business IQ! I was like 😍😍😍💥💥💥💥. I definitely felts some sparks in the air. I am that Alpha female, so it's always encouraging to know that we don't have to settle. It's important that we know how to be the Entrepreneurial, financially independent etc, whilst still being humble, gentle and kind. I've come to learn that this does not mean weakness. When it comes to child support…. The wife’s income is listed on one side. The husbands listed on the other. And the children’s expenses go in the middle. Whomever makes more is the one who is responsible for paying for majority of those expenses. Which is done in the form of child support to the other parent. This is the case even if you have shared custody.

I was raised as that second caliber of women... keep your money, I don't need to take anything from you, I can do for myself. I will have my own. It is true that I never learned to lean on a man due to my experiences with my partners.. I wonder if Anthony has a hard time finding a wife because he's only worried about the money 👀. Seriously, lol! I like the shows but almost every show he's worried about keeping everything. When you find a wife on the level you speak of, she will add & multiply what you give her. Listening to you, you seem to think she won't be of added value. And she has to make her own. Do you think that you won't be of added value to her business? I'm not sure that you want to be married when you really look at the laws of the land. It's almost as if you love your money more than any relationship. Don't get me wrong, I agree with having a prenuptial, but you have to understand that what you all make together is what you make together. You are no longer really doing this on your own. Especially if you plan to keep talking to her about business as you state. 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Great show AO but I do disagree with the Pastor when he sd men may lose 30-60% of just money and women lose 30-60% of emotion. This drives the narrative that we as men dnt hve emotions or that we are not vested emotionally in our relationships, and that is incorrect to me. You just said a lot and I disagree with them not condoning 50/50 relationships or marriages... 50/50 is a GREAT thing because it keeps BOTH parties protected, should things go wrong such as divorce and breakups, it's reality that cannot be ignored Because we 50% of marriages end up in divorce... If one person is giving 100% and the other one is giving 50 then the person that was giving 100 is going to be left in the dirt should things go bad.... Nothing wrong with loving yourself while sharing yourself with someone else...... I think they need to realize that there are other viewpoints out there as well....

I have not watched the whole video yet but the first statement of this video made me feel like I have to say something. If you love our creator the most high, I’d suggest you find someone who knows and love him as well. I was not a believer to begin with and I can tell you my marriage suffered for a long time until I know who our father in heaven is. My sister in law married her atheist boyfriend thinking he will change and no, he never did. You will be tested and if your heart is not in the right place you will never want to see the truth. It’s not impossible because the father can make miracles but not everyone will change. So if you are looking, I do suggest looking for someone with at least a good heart and the love for the creator.

I heard one dad tell his daughter, " You are not doing ANY 'missionary dating'! Thinking that you will bring someone to Christ by your 'love'!" Foolishness and a waste of your life. This is NOT how Jesus told us that people will turn to God, when He sent out people to tell them! We are not folk's Saviour, they already HAVE one, (hint- it's Jesus), and our ego thinks WE should be it. NO, no no no no!! Off the subject , just a little. What if you're 65, and I still love what I do. I am a teacher, I am healthy, got my right mind. How do I maximize my money ( 403B, IRA; Teacher retirement, Emergency fund ,High Yield saving account , Savings account , just inherited a home (needs about $15,000- $20,000 renovations, rent on a Tiny Home, Teacher Retirement from another state that has sat there for 24 years w/o contributions or withdrawal; Mortgage, and credit card debt, about $13,000 working it down; no Student loan $0 and I have zeroed out 5 credit card so far) and working on 4 more. Within 6 months all will be at zero. The one that is left, I gifted the church access to it and they are paying it off within a 12-18 months. and I still pay an extra $100 towards that bill. What, How do I build wealth and generational wealth for my niece and nephews?

Wealth comes once you realize who you are in Christ Jesus period. Now, its two of you guys. There will be no divorce why, because you two are following the manual, the rule book call the Bible With that said you aren't leaning on your own understanding but you're trusting in the lord and He is directing your PATH. With this understanding you guys will forever Be together and be wealthy. It should never be what if in your relationship. Far as divorce Goes. If Your relationship is based off of Christ. Its not a problem being earthly wealthy, it is a problem if thats your primary goal. I'm realizing sice I have been following the rule book( The Bible) I'm so wealthy and wisdom knowledge and revelation as well as earthly possessions which seems to be not as important to me like i once thought.

Such a cute couple. When my Pakistani friend got married, I asked him if his wife was educated. He didn't know her. It was an arranged marriage on the advice of his sister. She'd never been to the US. He said, so long as she has me, she doesn't have to worry about money or work. Because then what is he there for. From that time, he made first class and then chief in the military. They lived off of his reserve pay. He got his Master's, left NYC and bought a house in Texas. Came back and got a job with the City of NY. All the while, she stayed home and conceived 3 children. She's never worked as he said. He doesn't care about a prenuptial agreement. Oh an they bought a house in NYC for half a million.

Those words weren’t specifically used but essentially yes that’s what they were both saying. Especially when around the 35 min mark when he said God is strategic in who can fill the gap. If both people are seeking God and asking him to guide their steps then God will place them in the position to meet, to fill each other’s gaps.

You will never get a straight answer from someone sitting right next to their spouse ..especially in a super religious relationship..if you start the relationship thinking it will fail that’s what will happen..how is 50/50 fair for a woman who risks her life to carry your child..whose body is destroyed from childbirth ..who is cooking cleaning child rearing and still helping you with your business and legacy? She is the hostess and typically the planner in exchange for 50/50? What is the point of getting or staying in a marriage like this?

Hey Anthony, I enjoyed your show today. Not only today, but each and every time you come on the platform. I do have one thing I do have to disagree with you on. You say the majority of the African American population does not carry life insurance. I want to ask a question, I agree with you on we don't cover ourselves properly as we should. My question to you is Do you know if research is being done to find out why? If so, do you know if companies are being created to provide affordability and coverage for those that don't qualify? Also, I would have to disagree with you about Ethos. They do not insure everyone, especially if you have a pre - existing condition or previous health issues. We should be very careful when we are promoting these companies without all of the facts. No disrespect or I am not trying to call you out. I'm not trying to start a movement, I want to make sure we are providing somewhat accurate info to our community.

It gave me gross when he started talking about 45%. If she's keeping the kids. Yes he has to pay for his children. If he made more and paid for a certain lifestyle. Yes, he has to help keep that up so she can get on her feet to keep the same standard he had for them. Also, alimony isn't forever and everyone doesn't get it. I used to tell people to please learn about marriage and divorce. Everyone wants to be married but most don't think about the end point. All marriages dont make it. Been there done that.

Come on pastor on emotions spent! When I say it took me years to recover! And if I'm honest, I ok with being single because I don't anytime soon want to be that emotionally exhausted again. And just so Anthony knows, women can get be order to give men money and so many circumstances. I'm retired military and my ex had legal right to a portion of my retirement 😩

Draw an outline before you get married. Do you want too much early in life? This is good. Thank you, AO and the guests. It was a such a blessing. I don't believe in 50-50 though.
