When John Deere decides to get cheap on stuff you have to beef it up yourself. The skid plates under the 450J did not have any protection around the bolt heads which makes them vulnerable to being sheared off. This is why Andy is having to cut out a new one (the old one is MIA) and adding protection to the other plates while he's at it.
