I'm literally unbiased because I wouldn't say that I'm a huge fan of either Beyonce or doja cat (I'm more of a Muse and Micheal Jackson fan) but I'm a music history major and even though doja is good Beyonce is on a completely different tier. Beyonce actually hit Michael Jackson level God-tier. Not saying doja won't ever get there but she's not even close. "Good but no cigar" as they used to say

With backtracking, the studio version plays throughout, but you still sing OVER it, as if you were singing along on the radio. The whole time, Doja is dancing, singing, and rapping. It makes sense that the backtrack is there, so on that note. BACKTRACK IS NOT THE SAME AS LIPSYNC. DOJA IS NOT LIP-SYNCING IN THIS PERFORMANCE, BUT USING BACKTRACK. However, I am sure she has definitely lipsync in performances, all artists do. Even your fav 70s/80s artists
