I have a question, can I set shipping rates at the product level? Sometimes a seller, of all their products, may have a specific product that requires special handling and I need to add an additional cost to that product, can I do it with dokan? in woocommerce that would be solved with a shipping class. Can I use shipping classes with Dokan? Greetings
The biggest challenge we are facing now using the dokan is the shipping labels. When running a multivendor storefront, it not feasible for us to tell the vendors to have their own store pep or ship station account as this will increase their cost to a point that they will not want to do business with us. Being that we are a multivendor ecommerce website the vendors rely on us to provide them with the label printing option, right from the dokan dashboard. How can this be achieved? We need some kind of a pluggin so that the vendor can print directly from their dokan vendor login and not from another website such as storepep or shipstation. If this has to be customized what would be the cost for this cause without this feature running a multivendor storefront with 100s of sellers/vendors is impossible.
@@amanpreetbhatia3180 Dokan is not a good solution, it is good to only get some experience, but not for scaling your business, it will never work, we have moved on from dokan. Cause it was a complete waste of our time..
DOKAN SHIPPING + INVOICING Hi, If shipping is set as an additional service for vendors, that i want to add my margin to the shipping rate, Is there a way to charge it to customer, make it visible on customer invoice, and add it automatically to store invoice (from admin to vendor, with an additionally commission on the sale). ?
hiii what if vender want to use 3rd party shipping platform for shipping like shiprocket udaan express. How can we do that ? Also please explain process to integrate it.
Liked. Pretty informative. Greetings - Can you advise if admin can enable shipping options in woocommerce as well as Dokan shipping for below scenario in relation to scenario 5 mentioned. If Store vendors do not enable their Store Shipping settings, then standard woocommerce shipping should apply for those vendors. Conversely, if store vendors enable shipping from their dokan shipping settings then it should override woocommerce shipping rules and apply Dokan store shipping options and not even show Admin shipping options. Admin shipping option do not make sense to even show on Cart page when store vendor himself has set shipping rules. This override setting will make the Dokan shipping solution more robust. We are pretty sure this would be an important feature for the Admins who own and manage multiple stores with dfferent Brands names and handle single shipping Kindly advise if this is possible or already being considered for development?
